At first Anakin gives zero shits about his hair. Self care was not something that Palpatine allowed, so Anakin just let his hair get tangled and frayed, paying it no heed. However Obi-Wan can’t stand it and one day just orders Anakin to sit down before he grabs a brush.
Anakin obeys without a second thought and prepares for some kind of punishment, only to feel soft brussels sweep against his scalp. It’s not to pleasant at first as Obi-Wan has to brush out years of knots, but after, oh man, it’s heavenly bliss.
A few nights after this happens, Obi-Wan is surprised to see Anakin come up to him one night with the brush cradled in his hand. The sith says nothing, unable to allow himself to ask, but Obi-Wan just smiles and gestures for Anakin to come over and sit down. If this becomes a nightly routine, well Obi-Wan isn’t complaining.
