Ezra gets many nightmares shortly after he is rescued by the Ghost crew. I imagine he has nightmares about his parents, but he won’t talk about it. Sometimes he wakes up screaming. This leads to, said situation above. ^

Comfort is something Anakin never got to experience at all during his time with Palpatine. The man made him sleep on a metal slab, and the food he was given was as bland as possible.

So when Obi-Wan tries to show Anakin how to relax, it’s extremely awkward and stilted as Anakin is still unsure what to do. However that all changes when old woman in one of their missions gives him a soft, velvet blanket in thanks for his help.

Usually gifts given to Jedi are donated to the needy, but seeing the soft wonder on Anakin’s face as he held the bundle is enough for Obi-Wan to throw the rules right out the window. After all, Anakin isn’t technically a Jedi, and this is the first gift he’s ever received from someone else besides him.

Obi-Wan is especially amused when he starts seeing the destructive Sith wandering around their shared apartment, blanket draped over his body like a cloak while clutching a mug of hot chocolate between his hands.
