melty-artz:

“It’s only that—well, I’ve been a bit worried about him. I was hoping he may have talked to you.”

“Why would he talk to me about—” She favored him with her best friendly-but-skeptical smile. “—Jedi business?”

“Senator—Padme. Please.” He gazed into her eyes with nothing on his face but compassion and fatigued anxiety.

“I am not blind, Padme. Though I have tried to be, for Anakin’s sake. And for yours.”

“What do you mean?”

“Neither of you is very good at hiding feelings, either.”

“Obi-Wan—”

-Revenge Of The Sith By Matthew Stover

One of my favorite relationships in the whole Star Wars Saga is the relationship between Padme and Obi Wan.  It’s a very respectful and genuine relationship, and I wish it was explored more.

Also One of my favorite scenes in Revenge Of The Sith is when Obi Wan goes to talk to Padme about Anakin’s betrayal. As tragic as it is, I really enjoy the emotion put into it (Ewan McGregor is wonderful), so I tried to capture a bit of it here.

coggedcorset:

The empty base showed signs that the previous residents had left in a hurry, personal effects strewn around, clothing had been left in drawers and the food supplies had spoiled, but thanks to the senate’s recent whining and indecision, Obi wan and the 212th were stuck here for the next forseeable future.
Some of the troops had begun gathering abandoned items. Trapper picked up a stringed instrument and looked it over, it seemed to be in good condition, none of the strings broke as he plucked them.
The troops all turned to the command centre doors as Obi wan and Cody exited.
“General, I take it the senate was of little help, as usual?” Boil sneered. Obi wan shook his head with a sigh. As Trapper approached with the instrument his eyes lit up a bit.
“What have you found, Trapper?”
“An instrument, course I don’t know how to play it.” Obiwan held a hand out, gently taking the base. “Do you know how to play, sir?”
“It’s been many, many years since I’ve played. I’m not sure I actually remember.”
“It would be nice to have a little music around here. I mean, besides when General Drakkar joins us.” Waxer chirped. He plucked a few strings and twisted the knobs a bit before a smile spread across his face.
“I think I know what I could play.”

So you should all listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqbk9cDX0l0 because whenever i hear it i think of Obiwan.

i’m not happy with this pic, but it’s done.
