force flowers, or nelumbo animula, are a species of lorus found on a handful of planets whose populations are primarily composed of force-sensitive species. they bloom in unusual locations, such as on the surface of lakes and rivers and in the bark of trees- there have even been reports in various botanical journals of specimens budding in mid-air. these bioluminescent flora produce oil and spores that are said to have musical properties; chiming and thrumming has been heard in the proximity of these plants.

apart from these almost mythical characteristics, the most wondrous aspect of these lori is that they are reflexive empaths. upon plucking, nelumbo animula will proceed to amplify and “release” an emotion felt deeply by the being holding it. because of this, animula is colloquially termed the “catharsis bloom.”

Man, I had a bitch of a time trying to come up with a design for this. I’m not even sure if this will be the final one honestly.

Well this if for the pact bound AU, and this the from Anakin can take after being bonded to Obi-Wan. I wanted the form to somewhat resemble Vader’s suit, since this form is the embodiment of Anakin’s repressed rage.

Anakin has no control in this form. He’ll rip down anything in front of him without hesitation. However Obi-Wan’s commands will stop Anakin immediately. Essentially Obi-Wan is holding the leash of the Galaxy’s angriest force beast.

For Anakin, taking this form is both freeing and horrifying. It’s horrifically painful to transform into and when he returns to normal he’s bed bound for days recovering. The dark upside though is that he gets to release all the pent up anger inside of him, it’s cathartic.

He’s not really in his right mind when this happens but when Obi-Wan gives him commands it gives him a moment of clarity.

Side note, the slits on his ribs spew fire when he gets really pissed.
