Insight AU. Or Bloodborne kinda-ish AU

So in the game Bloodborne your character is affected by the eldritch horrors they encounter. The more crazy stuff they see the more they are able to see things that were originally invisible to them. So what you thought was a normal lantern before was actually a lantern covered in human eyeballs.

In this AU, Anakin has a near death experience and delves himself really deeply into the force for a moment to keep himself alive. Things seem fine after, that is until he gets to the temple. Because he’s 100% sure there wasn’t a giant eldritch slug god curling around the Jedi temple last time he was here. 

Things get even weirder when he notices all the Jedi have these little slugs curled around them all the time, but like, no one else see these things!? And Anakin is just staring at all these squirming lumps and people are just casually walking around like nothing is seriously wrong. He can’t even stay in the counsel room for a minute as his senses are screaming at him to get out, while the giant god thing is staring right at him from outside the windows.

The final straw though is when he looks in the mirror. He isn’t human, at least that’s what he can see now. Whether it was his near death experience or being conceived through the force, it’s painfully obvious he’s not normal anymore.

Obi-Wan is concerned as he watches Anakin slowly get paranoid and skittish, and begs his ex-padawan to tell him what’s wrong. It takes some convincing but Anakin tries to relay to Obi-Wan what he’s seeing through their bond, which of course accidently gives Obi-Wan insight as well. Who just stares gobsmacked at everything and is immediately like WTF IS THIS ON MY SHOULDERS AGLKDJGL!?!?!
