Obi-Wan remembered the days before the war, where the temple was full of life, where his fellow Jedi bustling through its halls, the laughter of younglings because of one of Master Yoda’s story.  He missed it. He wished he could return to that moment, but there was nothing left in the temple. His home. His family was killed without mercy and from the ashes of his family and the republic, rise the empire. 

And, Obi-Wan mourned.

I’m not the biggest fan of the prequels but I will always adore this time period because, well, I’m not quite sure Obi-wan was in any way responsible for those “damn fool idealistic crusades,” if you know what I mean.
