You know that picture you reblogged by Meowchan (spelling?) with a semi-suitless Vader and a sith Obi dressed in a white Imperial uniform? That is your prompt. Please tell us the story behind that piece of art.
Flickering his
saber absently while peering down at the figure at his feet, Anakin
let out a little hum. “You know, I did actually like him once, he
could be rather cunning in his way even when he was a coward who let
others do all the dangerous work for him.” He offered out as the
wind from the broken window blew his black cape.
There was a
chuckle, soft and warm that sent tingles through Anakin’s frame
before steps closed in and a hand found his lower back by slipping
between the cape and body as it fluttered once more. “Indeed but
when he choose to conspire against you, I’m afraid his life was
forfeit my Emperor. Tarkin really should have known I’d figure out
his little machinations against you and plan accordingly.” A low
voice murmured, the hand pressing into Anakin’s back.
Glancing to his
side, he found Obi-Wan standing beside him, nary a hair out of place
despite the wind and exercise they had just gone through. Golden eyes
observed him carefully in return as the white uniform picked up the
light of Anakin’s saber and turned it red instead.
Smiling a bit, he
turned slowly so Obi-Wan could keep his hand just where it was.
As he did he could
survey the rest of the damage to the room and the bodies of the rest
of the conspirators that Obi-Wan had handled.
A small smile
twitched his lips and he focused back on Obi-Wan, disengaging his
saber to put it to his belt before sweeping his lover and soon to be
husband to him, dipping him slightly as the other smiled in amusement
to him as Obi-Wan’s hands transferred from his back to up his
shoulders to hold on. “Oh?” He chuckled playfully at the change
of position.
“You are entirely
too clever and skilled for your own good, have I told you that
lately?” Anakin answered, leaning in brush his lips over Obi-Wan’s
in an equally playful mood.
After all, winning
against traitors to his power with Obi-Wan at his side was always a
reason for merriment.
Obi-Wan smirked,
tightening his grasp before his his eyes flickered to the door, eyes
narrowing in displeasure and annoyance before he sighed and pushed
Anakin back to stand properly. “Cody and Rex are coming, Ahsoka on
their trail.” He explained.
Huffing a bit,
Anakin nodded and straightened out his tunic from where it wrinkled.
“We knew when we slipped their tail earlier that they’d follow.”
He grumbled.
“Well that’s
your fault for telling them what was going on.” Obi-Wan rolled his
eyes, stretching lightly until his bones popped and chuckling when
Anakin gained a sheepish expression instead. “Oh my silly Emperor
love, you know they love us and are protective. If you wanted to have
fun you shouldn’t have told them about the betrayal or the meeting
Tarkin arranged to try and kill us.” He teased lightly, booping the
other on the nose with a finger.
“I shan’t next
time.” He grumbled before turning to the door as it flew open, Cody
first in with his blaster in hand and Rex’s only seconds later with
Ahsoka coming up the back in a jump with both her sabers in hand.
And then they froze
as both Anakin and Obi-Wan gave them amused stares from where they
were positioned by the broken window in the former office of Tarkin
with corpses littered around them, some which bore the obvious
markings of saber and others not even a scratch except for
unnaturally twisted necks.
Standing from her
crouched position, Ahsoka gained her breath and then pouted at the
other two Sith. “You could have saved some for me!” She cried to
the combined laughter of her masters.
