“Soon.”

I fell in love with this page
the first time I saw it. It’s so simple, no dialogue at all, but such a
powerful moment for Anakin. Especially after he spent most of the run
hellbent to find the son that’d been kept from him all these years.

from Darth Vader (2015) #25, originally by Salvador Larroca & Edgar Delgado.

EDIT 7/6/19: redid the final effects and did a ton of proofing so it’s not as muddy.

The Tower card for the “Star wars: Clone wars” themed Tarot deck, a submission for Fandom battle on diary.ru.

I think “The wrong Jedi” story arc (last three episodes of Season 5) fits the card meaning perfectly. It starts with a Jedi temple that is physically broken by the terrorist attack (whilst in the tower in the card is often considered to deoict as the broken Temple of Jerusalem) and ends with the Jedi order gettng broken and corrupt its conscious and cynical betrayal of an innocent child. Change is underway both for Ahsoka, who leaves the Jedi and for Anakin, for whom it is a focal point in his disenchantment in the Order and the subsequent turn to the Dark Side. Most importantly, dramatic change, loss, ruin and disaster, which represent a common interpretation of this card, are underway for the Jedi Order itself.

I wish you still there…

Watched the first episode today.

After read the JA novel, saw Qui-Gun’s death made me even sadder.

There’s a strong bond between them and suddenly he’s gone…
