One of the main things Obi-Wan learns during this AU is that too much control can be a bad thing. When he was told that he needed blood to survive, Obi-Wan immediately thought heavy meditation would help lessen his desire, as well as extend the period of time in which he needed to eat.
However this had a very bad side effect. His body went into starvation mode, causing his instincts to go into overdrive to the point he just goes berserk at the sight or smell at just a single drop of blood.
Lucky for him Anakin is there to stop him, just like the first time he lost control. Anakin is worried at first, not sure what is wrong, but when he finds out what Obi-Wan is doing, HE IS PISSED.
He essential locks himself and Obi-Wan in their apartment until he drills it into Obi-Wan how bad this is. It’s like pulling teeth, Obi-Wan insist that he just needs to mediate more, that as a Jedi he should have more control over himself, while Anakin is like, DUDE YOU’RE STARVING YOURSELF TO THE POINT OF INSANITY. STOP IT.
So of course during their lockup Obi-Wan loses control and Anakin just slams him onto the ground, his muscles straining to the point they feel like they’re gonna burst and just roars at Obi-Wan. He’s showing Obi-Wan that he can stop him anytime he wants before he scratches the side of his neck, prompting Obi-Wan to feed from him.
It’s an awkward morning after but Obi-Wan finally relents, guilt tearing at his insides on how much danger he put everyone in by being stubborn. He also starts only from feeding from Anakin from then on, knowing if Anakin wanted to, he could stop him.
