So Obi-Wan and Anakin are sent to an isolated planet to look for Separatists activity, only they find a deserted world littered with dead trees. Coming back from the mission, everything seems find, until Obi-Wan can’t hold down any food. He’s sluggish, pale, and his hearing seems to have magnified, but things go to shit when he nearly tears the throat of another Jedi.
Thankfully Anakin manages to wrestle the elder down before that could happen. It takes a bit, but they find out that the older Jedi can only consume blood for sussantance, and after adminsited Obi-Wan is brought back to his senses.
Obi-Wan is wracked with guilt at what happened and spends the next couple of weeks hiding in his room.
Meanwhile for Anakin, things are getting really damn weird. He can smell EVERYTHING. His mood swings are nearly uncontrollable, and he keeps salivating at the sight of raw meat. He tries to control himself, but with Padme breaking up their marriage he’s literally hanging on by his finger nails from falling into a screaming rage.
Unfortunately Mace Windu is getting sick of Anakin’s horrendous behavior and instigates a really nasty dialogue. It’s then that Anakin breaks, his body morphing as he becomes an 8 to 9 foot tall werewolf, and charges at Mace. Obi-Wan however sensed Anakin’s growing rage and puts himself between Mace and Anakin before a fight can happen.
The gist of this Au is that the two are mutated by spores from the isolated planet. Obi-Wan is a vampire and Anakin is a werewolf. The two must depend on each other more than ever as they try to figure out how to live now, ironically considering they both seem to be the only ones who can stop each other from going out of control.
