General Skywalker and Bobba find out they are going to have a new younger brother. Neither reacts well to Obi’s Plans. And Ani gets a talk about safe sex.

Snorting
juice out of his nose in shock, Anakin stared at his master with wide
eyes before looking at Jango and then back at his master as Boba
squeaked joyfully and bounced around, grabbing his buir’s hands and
bouncing up and down at the news.

The
news that Obi-Wan was pregnant.

Boy
when he woke up this morning to what seemed like a shout and then got
informed that Obi-Wan and Cody had arrived at the new camp safely and
was in the medtent waiting on him and Boba, this was not
what he expected to learn.

And
despite Jango’s rather smug happiness, there was also an under
currant of tension that
didn’t really make sense and
Anakin could spot tension in Obi-Wan despite the besotted
smile on his face.

So
something was clearly going on.

“Anakin,
honestly.” Obi-Wan stood from his position on the medbay, making
his way over and cleaning the blond’s face with a napkin as
the last of the juice dripped off his face,
still smiling slightly as he did though this also allowed Anakin to
lean in and sniff the other gently.

There,
a change in the scent clearly.

So
that was how pregnant omegas smelled?

Setting
his bottle aside on
a tray,
Anakin shifted closer and buried his face into the others neck,
sniffing lightly as he felt Obi-Wan wrap his arms around his taller
padawan in a comforting hug, rubbing the
small of his back slowly.

It
wasn’t really a big
change, if Anakin hadn’t been told, he would have been aware why
Obi-Wan’s scent had changed ever so slightly and
just assumed it was a hormone thing since that occasionally happened.

If
he was to explain, he’d say that it had somehow grown ‘softer’?

But
how do you describe that a scent of all things had grown soft.

Maybe
gentler?

Whatever,
the change was minor at least and
anyone not in the know wouldn’t catch onto it until Obi-Wan started
to show, whenever that was.

Pulling
back a bit, Anakin narrowed his eyes at Obi-Wan, pursing his lips as
a thought hit him.
“You want to stay on the battlefield, don’t you.” He stated,
calling his master out as the man winced guiltily. Anakin
had hit the nail on the head clearly since he knew his master quite
well.

That
explained the tension and the small bit of anger in Jango’s Force
aura.

Boba,
who had been jumping in joy still at the prospect of being an older
brother, froze while looking between his father and Obi-Wan with wide
eyes. “…He can’t do that, right?” Boba squeaked up
at his father then
turned all the way around to face the redhead Jedi. “You can’t
Obi-Wan. What if my vod gets hurt!?” The other jumped over
practically, wrapping himself around Obi-Wan’s midsection like a
clingy snake, as
if he could protect the baby simply by being there.

Anakin
too remained in close contact with his master, frowning at him as he
ticked in on Jango letting out a relieved breath.

Clearly
he was hoping they’d try to discourage Obi-Wan too, gaining
two very capable allies to help him convince Obi-Wan.

‘Was
that what the yelling earlier was about?’ Anakin wondered. He had
faintly heard something after
all,
tucked up around Boba in Slave 1 for comfort for
each other
since they hadn’t known where Obi-Wan was at time and been worried
he was hurt since
Anakin hadn’t been able to tell anything with their bond.

Shaking
himself mentally away from that thought, Anakin instead gave his
master as
stern stare as
he could manage.
“If it was me, you would have grounded me so fast my head would be
spinning,” He said quietly, fully aware that he was potentially
getting a lecture on safe sex later on but needing to make a point as
Obi-Wan paused in reassuring Boba, his pale
hand
resting on the dark head. “There
are other
things you can do instead of the front line you know.” Anakin
pointed out gravely.

Staring
at him, Obi-Wan blinked slowly before suddenly smiling in
tender affection,
his free hand coming up to cup Anakin’s cheek. “My padawan,” He
murmured in such a fond tone he had Anakin flushing in surprise.
“When did you get so responsible?” Obi-Wan chuckled softly.

Snorting,
Anakin covered the hand on his cheek with his own, relaxing as Jango
came over and wrapped both him and Obi-Wan into a semi hug with both
his arms with
Boba caught between them.
“Well, someone has to talk sense into you master. If I left it all
to Jango, then you’d two drive each other up the walls.”
Anakin grinned teasingly at the redhead.

Snorting
deeply, Obi-Wan paused before sighing deeply and nodding. “Fine. I
won’t stay on the front line,” He looked between all three
grinning males,
his eyes narrowing.
“But I need to be involved, this is our pack, this is our…
family,” Obi-Wan swallowed heavily. “I can’t not
defend them and us, so compromises has to be made.” He whispered
softly as he settled his head on Jango’s shoulder.

Nodding,
Jango pressed a kiss to Obi-Wan’s temple. “All I ask Obi-Wan, is
that you stay away from battle as best you can. I can understand
needing to do something, anything
but
please, promise us…” He trailed off, letting out a shuddering
breath.

A
low, soft noise of understanding escaped Obi-Wan as he tried to hug
all of them. “I promise, I’ll stay away from battle to the best
of my ability. I’ll go nowhere alone when out in the field.”
Obi-Wan promised them.

In
the middle of a war, that was honestly the best they could get.

It
didn’t make Anakin feel much better but it was at least better than
nothing that Obi-Wan would stay away from the front lines and avoid
battle if possible.

‘And,
eventually he’ll be to big to be around in the field,’ A low
voice pointed out, memories from sex ed propping up in his head.
‘Male omegas can be rounder than females and have more hip problems
depending on the size of the baby or babies… we can only wait and
see.’ The voice sounded quite satisfied with that.

Anakin
pressed closer to Obi-Wan, resting a hand on Boba’s back while
soaking in the comforting presence of Jango looking out for them all.

His
intimate pack was small… but damn if he didn’t love it to bits
regardless how little and awkwardly cobbled together it had started.

What is going to happen now that Obi (I assume) is temple bound in Break ABarrier?

Pacing
back and forth in the apartment, Obi-Wan kept excitedly looking at
the door only to grumble and go back to pacing back and forth as
Anakin watched him in obvious amusement with a warm cup of hot
chocolate in hand, courtesy of 3CPO.

He
had of course tried to have Obi-Wan sit and drink some tea, some
decaffeinated tea that is, but it was a moot point.

Obi-Wan
was too excited and restless, too much to meditate and therefor too
much to sit and drink tea so pacing it was, moving meditation even
though he broke it often to look to the door because he thought he
felt Padme arrive.

Giving
up, Anakin instead opted to fondly watch Obi-Wan and letting his eyes
linger on the others stomach where their new treasure rested.

It
was much too early of course to be able to tell anything
about what was in there.

The
blood test confirmed Obi-Wan was pregnant and that was all, it was no
more than two weeks since the heat and who knew which day it took so
yeah, that fetus in there was no more than a week and a half if even
that.

So
they would have to wait to see what came of it.

For
a moment Anakin’s hand tightened on his mug as he considered the
idea of miscarriage but he quickly wiped that out of his mind.

Healers,
the healers would keep good tabs on Obi-Wan.

Padme
would look after Obi-Wan.

Breathing
out through his nose, Anakin sent Obi-Wan a reassuring smile as the
other paused to look at him, obviously having felt the minor moment
of panic Anakin had. “What
are you going to do now that you won’t be in the war effort?” He
decided to ask.

As
much to distract himself as Obi-Wan honestly.

The
other stopped outright, blinking owlishly at Anakin before snorting
deeply, sending a sinking sensation through the blond. “I’m not
out of the war effort, I just won’t be on the front line.”
Obi-Wan sniffed, moving to the couch to sit down.

Relief
zinged through his veins like the nectar of the gods, wrapping one
arm around Obi-Wan while keeping a hold on his mug. “Oh? You’ve
considered what you’re going to be doing?” He asked quietly
instead, taking a small sip of his spiced chocolate.

Tucking
into Anakin’s chest, Obi-Wan nodded. “I can still review
information and battle strategies, try to get a lead on whoever is
really in charge of the whole operation.” Obi-Wan sighed deeply,
rubbing his hand over his beard.

Pressing
a kiss to the others temple, Anakin considered that, smiling
slightly.

It
was a safe thing to do, it would most likely keep Obi-Wan on
Coruscant, far away from the battles that roamed the galaxy and all
Anakin would have to do was to keep the CIS away from Coruscant. ‘I
can do that, I can keep him safe. Padme and me can keep them safe.’
He smiled brightly before both turned to the door when it rang, Padme
stepping in with a surprised look on her face.

Obi-Wan
bounced to his feet and rushed to her side, beaming in tentative hope
for how she would, take the information.

‘Has
he always been this endearing?’ Anakin set his cup down, smiling
slightly while standing too. ‘He must have, Force, my darling
omega, how I love you.’

The
mood in the council chamber was gloomy, each council member in deep
thought as some stared at the empty chair among them.

“…Will
it harm him?” Depa finally whispered.

Jaw
muscle jumping, Mace pressed his hands together. “I don’t know. I
don’t sense anything dark but who knows.” He tacked on equally
quiet.

Eeth,
his head in his hands, let out a bitter laugh that made them all
wince. “We know nothing, for all we know it could be natural, he
could just be that lucky or unlucky depending on who you ask.” He
stated in a dry tone of voice though clearly he did not believe his
own words, a tinge of desperation tacked to it that had them all
exchanging looks.

“Maybe
we could have the soul healers do their own searching?” Evan stated
thoughtfully, rubbing his chin.

“A
child is a blessing, why would such a thing be in a Sith’s ritual?”
Ka-Adi asked.

It
was a question that had been rehashed several time and they had no
answer yet.

Not
even Yoda, who had been gripping his cane with his eyes closed, ears
twitching as he listened to the Force.

They
just didn’t know and they did not want to intrude on Obi-Wan’s
happiness with his mates with their news.

“…We
will have to be discrete,” Mace sat up, looking at everyone
seriously, his face more dour than ever. “Obi-Wan was happy
once the news sunk in. He wants
this child. If it is unharmful we will say nothing, for once let him
be happy.” He stated severely in a heavy tone.

One
by one, they all nodded, all of them aware of all Obi-Wan had sacrificed
and been hurt.

For
once they wanted him to have that happiness as long as the child was
truly nothing more than that, a child even if the origin was
questionable.

Oooh! Well he’s not going to have to leave and go back to the war now, I guess. They’re not going to let him fight like that. But Anakin will still have to. Will he be missed dearly? And are Padmé and Obi-Wan going to have to deal with early pregnancy symptoms on their own?

Pressing
his hand to his still flat stomach as he took in the implications of
the positive test, Obi-Wan stared at the wall blankly. He didn’t
have a six pack anymore, he wasn’t a young man by any means and
maybe he should be training more but there was also organs in there
that meant he had a little bit of a pouch going on.

He
wasn’t vain about that though.

Obi-Wan
knew he looked decent but now he knew he also had a baby in there.

Two?

Maybe?

He
wasn’t sure, he hadn’t really looked up any information on the
Kenobi clan on Stewjon, if there even was a Kenobi clan.

Sometimes
kids who came to the temple got new last names if they came from
orphanages or were taken from abusive parents so who knew if Kenobi
was the name of his birth parents really and Obi-Wan’s mind was
spiraling, focusing on inconsequential things.

He
needed to think about the situation.

He
was pregnant.

He,
an older omega from his first mating, the claiming mating, was
knocked up without any fertility treatment after going through a
withdrawal heat before that.

It
should be virtually impossible for him to become pregnant based on
that and suddenly Obi-Wan couldn’t help but remember the condoms
Padme had dragged out only to be distracted from when Obi-Wan had
dragged her into a kiss.

The
condoms that had never gotten a use.

‘Whelp,
maybe we should have taken them in use after all, kaaark. I’m
pregnant in the middle of a war, I’m going to be waddling around in
the middle of a war!’ He took a deep shuddering breath of the
sterilized air of the Hall room.

And
then his mind went still at a thought.

He
could abort the baby.

Fear
jagged through Obi-Wan at that and he wrestled with it as he gripped
the fabric of his tunic around the stomach.

It
was an option but… Obi-Wan didn’t want to.

He
was an older
omega.

He
would only have so many years left of fertility, of that he knew for
sure and this… this may actually be his only chance despite it all
to have either of his mates children. Padme had a minor chance of
becoming pregnant he knew, alpha females were less fertile than their
beta and omega counterparts but it happened but Obi-Wan knew she had
more years than him to at least try.

‘Is
it wrong that I want this baby?’ He thought to himself as he
glanced around the sterile while room as the healer continued tapping
away at the terminal as they waited.

Mace
had stepped out to call for Anakin, the only one of his mates in the
temple and to give Obi-Wan some space while the healer had settled
down to update Obi-Wan’s profile and to start on the required
paperwork.

Because
as a pregnant omega Obi-Wan was not
going back out into war.

He
was going to stay on Coruscant, safe and sound with Padme.

Heart
sinking even as the door snapped open to reveal Anakin, Obi-Wan
smiled shakily at the wide eyed alpha stepping in, Anakin’s cheeks
flushed and his chest falling and rising quickly as he had clearly
run all the way to the Halls.

He
wouldn’t be able to stay with Anakin, Anakin would be shipped out
without Obi-Wan.

“Is
it true? Are you…” Anakin stepped over, his boots clicking on the
floor as he closed the distance and looked to the healer with large
blue eyes.

Nodding,
the healer sat back in her
chair. “Yes Knight Skywalker, Master Kenobi is for sure pregnant as
a more in-dept
test confirms and
as long as the pregnancy is not terminated it will remain a healthy
one if we take care of it. It is of course too early to be able to tell anything yet but
give it a few more weeks and we can do additional tests.” She
turned back.

Anakin
however was staring at Obi-Wan. “…Terminated?” He whispered,
his tone choked.

Lifting
his hands, Obi-Wan sighed. “I’m not going to… this is my baby.”
Obi-Wan murmured quietly in an assuring tone which instantly had
Anakin’s shoulders dropping in relief before he stepped closer and
pressed his flesh hand to Obi-Wan’s stomach, smiling a bit.

Huffing
softly, Obi-Wan rested his cheek on Anakin’s chest.

He
had no idea how and he frankly didn’t care because this was his
baby.

His
and his mates and that sent a ticklish feeling of joy in all the
darkness through Obi-Wan’s spine as he rubbed his cheek on Anakin’s
black tabards with the blonds hand gently rubbing his stomach where
what a mass of cells would develop into a human was safely suited.

Therefore
Obi-Wan missed Mace troubled dark eyes as he watched them before the
master of the order marched away to inform the rest of the council as
the healer brought their attention on her once more for information
and transferring them to a prenatal trained healer.

For
now, Obi-Wan was happily unaware of any meddling done to create the
baby inside of him as he joyfully waited to be able to leave to
inform Padme in person.

More sweethoney please! how do the rest of the clones react? are they more protective?

Grabbing
his vod by the elbow and pulling him in so hard the other lost the
pad he was holding with a loud clatter, Waxer looked around hurriedly
before leaning in and cupping his other hand around the cursing vod’s
ear to whisper.

Instantly
the other alpha stiffened, eyes growing wide before turning to look
at the bald man. “Are you… really?” He questioned in stunned
awe, his lips twitching a bit.

Nodding
eagerly, Waxer jabbed his thumb towards the medical tent. “I heard
Helix. And Mand’alor is in there too along with Cody.” He grinned
happily.

The
two stared at each other for a long moment before each separated in
each their own direction, Boil hardly stopping to swipe his pad up
before hitting up Longshot and whispering into his ear as Waxer on
the other side managed to snag Fives and Echo to whisper to both of
them.

All
three reacted the same as Boil with stunned awe before scurrying off
until the entire camp was told of the news that had been overheard
from the thin medical tent where
their template, their General and their commander was currently being
told by the medic that the omega was indeed pregnant.

Some
of the troopers reacted with worry for the General, since after all
Obi-Wan and Cody had been among the last to come to the safe point
after the ambush. Others were happy for their template, after all, a
child was a celebration, a new member of their rather large pack.

All
of them were surprised though and relieved that nothing bad had
happened to the pregnancy.

Anything,
virtually anything
could have happened during or after the ambush.

“…Is
he still going to remain in battle?” Killer suddenly questioned,
frowning deeply as he looked around the still in construction camp,
the poles still being sunk down for some tents with the most vitals
having been set up first like the medical tent, the command and the
comms.

Snorting
loudly, Trapper continued sorting through the crate of retrieved
supplies. “There is no way that would be allowed. Omegas in the
army? Yeah that’s fine, but pregnant
anyone at all? that’s just karking insanity, there is no way you
di’kut.” He growled out.

Smacking
Trapper with the back of his hand over the head, Chopper huffed
loudly. “Don’t call your brother an idiot. It’s honestly a
valid question when the omega in question is a dini’la jetii.” He
argued quietly back.

That
had everyone pausing.

Jedi
were
insane,
that was very true and no one argued with Chopper about that but even
a Jedi would see sense and not try to… they weren’t that
insane were they?

“WHAT
DO YOU MEAN YOU WANT TO STAY ON THE BATTLEFIELD!?” Came the roar
from medtent that
startled birds out of the trees around the camp to take flight,
Jango’s clearly enraged voice echoing around the makeshift shelter
they were setting up as best they could with salvaged supplies.

Well,
that did answer that question, Jango’s rather loud voice informing
them all that Obi-Wan did indeed want to stay and fight. Honestly
with
that volume they
wouldn’t be shocked if Boba heard that all the way to Slave I,
several glancing towards the parked
ship
to see if the ramp was lowering.

Rubbing
his chin, Tup exchanged a look with Hardcase. “…Five credits says
Mand’alor is sleeping on Slave I alone tonight.” He smirked,
finally settling as they heard a rather annoyed tone of the Jedi
responding back to his mate.

“…You’re
on Tup, five credits says they’re all sleeping in the Slave I
tonight after running through the wilderness without knowing if the
other was fine.” Hardcase snorted, still working his way through
water purification since they weren’t certain the water on the
planet was safe to drink yet.

Better
safe than shitting themselves after all.

Laughing
as he settled down a new bucket of water beside the first one, Sketch
beamed at them. “I’m just curious if there will be just one pup
or multiples,” He rubbed his hands together as both Hardcase and
Tup paused at the thought. “I mean, can you imagine the General,
huge as a shuttle if there’s more than two in there?” He made a
big curving motion around the stomach with a laugh only to freeze as
Rod asked a question no one else had considered.

“Has
anyone told General Skywalker yet?”

Oh
boy, to be a gnat on the wall for that conversation.

Hi Moddy. I love Hoarder Seer. What’s coming next are Palpatine and the Senate going to try something else?

Waking
slowly to the gentle stroke of fingers through his hair and the quiet
murmur of voices around him, Obi-Wan kept his eyes shut and his
breathing slow. He
had been dreaming so lovely about cakes and oranges for some reason
and he’d rather go back to that dream if he someone asked heh.

“And
the chancellor threw a tantrum?” Cody’s quiet, angry voice broke
him from that drowsy idea however as his ears reluctantly keyed in on
the conversation instead, mind waking up enough to realize he was
laying on his quarters couch with his head in Cody’s lap and a
blanket covering him.

There
was a deep sigh, Obi-Wan easily identifying it as Qui-Gon. “Like a
damn five year old being denied sweets when
we told him Obi-Wan would not be appearing in front of the Senate
citing that we believed them to be a danger to him.
We may have to get Obi-Wan off Coruscant if they continue like this
as
we don’t really have the support we need from the Senate.
Between the CIS contracting bounty hunters and the Senate trying to
somehow get Obi-Wan to agree to an abortion not to mention the public
pretty much camping on our front step, things are a mess.” The old
Jedi stated tiredly while sitting back in the comfortable recliner
Obi-Wan kept in his quarters for his old master.

The
hand stroking his hair paused for a few seconds before Cody continued
slowly stroking and then moving on to Obi-Wan’s large belly. “Is
that safe? I mean, multiple babies means it will be an earlier birth
right?” Cody asked, worry oozing of his voice.

There
was a shift, the creak of leather. “If he moves now, with a medic
or healer going with him and people around him to help him it would
be fine. He’d have to be moved to somewhere safer, perhaps Naboo or
Alderaan or one of the planets with a smaller Jedi temple but if we
did that, we’d have to send the entire 212th
with him and potentially a few knights just for security. We can’t
trust the rest of the galaxy clearly.” Qui-Gon growled a little
bit.

His
tone was full of raw worry tinged with anger and some sadness.

Deciding
he had heard enough, Obi-Wan squirmed a bit and let out a soft noise,
opening his eyes to blink at Qui-Gon, the man smiling softly at him.
Shifting a bit, Obi-Wan looked up at Cody, pouting up at him until
Cody chuckled and leaned down enough to give him a tender but chaste
kiss. “Welcome back to the world of the waking cyare, how do you
feel?” Cody asked quietly, his smile not letting on the seriousness
of the topic only seconds before.

Smiling
sleepily in return, Obi-Wan sat up slowly with a bit of help from the
clone, breathing out heavily. “Sleepy of course,” He yawned. “But
no longer as exhausted. Enough on that, hello to you Qui-Gon, when
did you arrive?” Obi-Wan peered at the other.

Glancing
towards the chrono,
the man let out a considering noise. “If I remember right, about
two hours ago. Cody offered me tea and I stayed to speak to him and
wait to see if you woke before I needed to go.” Qui-Gon hummed,
gesturing one of his big hands at the caff table where an abandoned
cup on a saucer stood.

Blinking,
Obi-Wan turned to Cody and pouted.

Promptly
the man stood with a laugh. “Alright, which one sweetheart?” He
smirked.

“Orange,
I know you’re not going to let me have sapir since there’s
caffeine in it.” Obi-Wan huffed before turning back to Qui-Gon as
Cody padded off to the kitchenette, flushing a bit under Qui-Gon’s
amused, tender smile.

Shaking
his head slowly, Qui-Gon’s smile grew. “Don’t be so embarrassed
Obi-Wan, I’m glad to see how much you two care for each other.”
He said quietly, a note of longing in his voice. Clearly Qui-Gon was
missing Tahl and Obi-Wan let out a low noise in response.

Sitting
up properly and settling his feet down on the floor, Obi-Wan glanced
around the quarters and then sighed deeply. “…If I am to leave
Coruscant, I want to go somewhere green.” The words were quietly
stated and wiped all traces of a smile off the older Jedi’s face.

Cody
looked at them from the kitchenette, his hands frozen around the box
of fruit tea he had been about to prepare. “…You were aware.”
Qui-Gon stated.

Shrugging
slightly, swallowing down shame and guilt, Obi-Wan peered tiredly at
him. “I woke up for the latter part, the chancellor throwing a
tantrum? And… I don’t want to risk my babies Qui-Gon. They’re
ours and
the Senate doesn’t get to… they can’t decide what happens to my
body and the babies I’m
carrying.” He finally whispered, clenching his hands on his knees
while looking down.

There
was a shift, the creak of leather and then Qui-Gon was sitting beside
him instead, pressing their shoulders together while covering one
hand with his large, warm one. “…I’ll speak with the council,”
He rumbled seriously, prompting Obi-Wan to look at him and relax at
the open and accepting face of his old master. “We won’t let them
decide this Obi-Wan, we already give them too much but we are not
letting them take this.”

Swallowing
heavily, Obi-Wan nodded, trying to stifle a sob that got caught in
his throat only to hitch out, Qui-Gon wrapping Obi-Wan in a hug that
rather painfully twisted his back with how his stomach was getting in
the way but Obi-Wan did nothing to try and get out of it, needing the
comfort more than anything else as he clung to his former master
embrace as if he was still just a young padawan after a nightmare.

A
second later Cody joined them, settling on Obi-Wan’s other side
with a supporting hand on his back, murmuring quiet endearment and
support in mando’a.

I totally respect that you need a break. This is absolutely a question that can wait until after break is done. That said… so breakabarrier…. is out favorite threesome expecting or not???

Watching
their sleeping and relaxed mate laying between them, Anakin and Padme
exchanged a fond look over Obi-Wan as the other continued snoring
quietly.

He
looked utterly comfortable wrapped up in the soft, green cotton
sheets of their bed wearing only his own navy blue boxers and
one of Anakin’s black tank tops, the strap on the left side coiled
up and exposing more of his skin on that side along with love bites
and hickeys
from their mating. The other had stolen the tank top for sleeping in
and Anakin had been too thrilled at the sight to deny him that
chance, having dragged Obi-Wan into a deep snog for a while before
they got to sleep.

Seeing
their omega in their own clothes was apparently a thing for them
though Padme didn’t get to see it too often because of size
difference unfortunately.

But
hey, she’d take the bathrobes and the occasional shirt that would
fit the man… or
barely fit as it was heh, there was something for the eyes to see
Obi-Wan’s chest on display through the thin fabric.

“We
have to wake him soon, we’re suppose to return to the temple and
finally get sent back out somewhere.”
Anakin murmured mournfully.

He
had enjoyed their time off from the war and from the temple if he was
honest, bonding with the master he had felt cut off from and the mate
he had discovered they were suppose to have all along since the
moment he and Padme had found each other.

Humming
in return, Padme leaned in and nuzzled at at the blond before leaning
down and gently stroking Obi-Wan’s hair out of his face, pressing
a soft kiss along his cheek. “Obi-Wan, hon, wake up.” She
murmured, smiling when the other twitched and mumbled sleepily,
turning onto his side to hide in her chest.

Grinning,
rubbing along Obi-Wan’s back, Anakin wiggled in after him. “Hey,
none of that, we need to get ready.” He teased softly only to
outright laugh in surprise when Obi-Wan whined and wrapped his arms
around Padme, dragging her tightly into him while hiding in the
valley of her breast. “Obi-Wan!”

“Noooo.”
He whined, tone muffled into her chest. “Sleeeep.” He continued
as
he octopus clung to one of his mates.

“I’ll
carry you and dump you in the tub Obi-Wan, clothes and all.” Anakin
warned the redhead and sniggered loudly when that finally got Obi-Wan
to look at him, squinting grouchily from the soft place he had found
to hide. They
all knew that wasn’t an idle threat as Anakin had actually done
that to both of his mates at one point.

Obi-Wan
had gotten their revenge though but turning the tables and dumping
Anakin into the bath in turn much to Padme’s delight since the man
had proven a bit too heavy for her to carry and return the favor.

Stroking
Obi-Wan’s hair fondly, Padme hid a little giggle. “Come now dear
heart, we have to go. I got Senate meetings and you…” She trailed
off, all of them equally saddened by the fact that they’d have to
separate for who knew how long.

Nuzzling
at the silken sea green of Padme’s nightie, Obi-Wan sighed. “I
don’t want to leave though…” He whispered, tone deep from
sleep.

Saying
nothing to that, Padme and Anakin wrapped themselves up around their
omega and each other as best they could, painfully familiar with the
desire not to leave but knowing that they had to.

Sighing
deeply as he gave over his hand to the healer, Obi-Wan shot Mace a
short glare from his position on the examination bed. “I’m
certain this is unnecessary Mace, I’m an older omega you know.”
He pointed out dryly even as the master of the order crossed his arms
over his chest while leaning against the wall by the door, clearly
unimpressed with Obi-Wan’s reasoning and the fact that he had to
drag Obi-Wan all the way to the Hall and to the sterile examination
room the healers used for appointments.

The
man smirked a bit when Obi-Wan hissed as his blood was drawn in a
little pinprick from his finger with bacta applied the second enough
blood was drawn but answered Obi-Wan calmly. “I will be telling
both Amidala and Skywalker that I had to strong arm you into coming
to the Halls, you know this is standard procedure for all newly mated
couples.” Mace pointed out in an equally dry tone.

Grimacing
heavily, Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and focused on the healer and the
test with a lazy gaze. Older omegas rarely got pregnant from their
first mating if they were kept from their mates for whatever reason
and generally older omegas required fertility treatments regardless
so he wasn’t expecting anything and didn’t really see the need to
waste the test and bacta for this but as Mace said, standard
procedure.

‘Sweet
Force, they’re more protective than ever over me, I swear Shaak
looked like she was about to come from Kamino to test me herself if
Mace didn’t drag me here.’ Obi-Wan thought grouchily as he swayed
his legs back and forth.

The
test beeped and Obi-Wan readied himself to be out of the Halls only
to stop as the healer dropped the gauze she had been handing over to
Obi-Wan wipe the bacta away and Mace straightened at the wall.

All
of them stared at the test at the clearly visible plus signs on the
pregnancy test.

‘…What?’
Obi-Wan.exe stopped working from shock overload as the realization
that he was pregnant
hit him with full force.

Burning bird seems to be getting close to the end. Could you write what happens next? I really enjoy how obi is needing time for recovery. It feels real

Fumbling
for the footrest of the bed, Obi-Wan held on tightly to remain
upright with a low curse before taking a deep breath and setting his
focus back on his goal with
his slippers slipping slightly with each step he took towards his
goal.

The
fresher only
twenty steps away from him.

By
the incubator, his anxious mate sat with a hand on the glass
separating him from his kids, his whole body practically vibrating
with the urge to get up and help his struggling mate but each time he
showed signs to wanting to,
Obi-Wan shot him a sharp glare.

The
reason for that was the healer standing in the door with raised
brows, Healer Janna’s arms crossed over her ample bosom as she
waited, her
beautiful raven hair tied up and back with beads braided in
everywhere as she observed.

If Obi-Wan could
get to the fresher on his own, the family could move back to their
quarters with the kids in the incubator but if Obi-Wan couldn’t get
to the fresher under his own power then there was no other option
then to keep him for at least another day.

Clearly
Healer Janna did not expect Obi-Wan to manage and was clearly
expecting him to have to remain in
the Halls in his sleep wear that Anakin had been kind enough to fetch
but Obi-Wan was nothing if not stubborn and he wanted his own fucking
bed with
the soft sheets and firm pillows he was used to
and he wanted it yesterday thank you very much.

So,
bow legged and stumbling, he made his way towards the fresher with a
very prominent ache and soreness going off
every time he moved. ‘When I get to our quarters, I’m going to
sit on the couch and enjoy a cup of tea Anakin will make for me and
watch the kids sleep. Then I’ll gloat at both Qui-Gon and Yan that
I’m in my own quarters and there is nothing they can do about it.’
With these lofty goals set, Obi-Wan pushed himself until he was
indeed standing by the fresher door and turned his head defiantly to
the healer.

Said
healer had dropped her arms, her brows raising in pure surprise now.
“Well, it seems you’re doing better than I expected Master
Kenobi,” She turned her head to Anakin. “I’ll write out some
prescription painkillers for you to take with and arrange with one of
the med droid to get the incubator ready to transport. To be fair,
the kids will only need two more days in the incubator anyhow.” She
stated.

Grinning
in victory despite the clammy sweat on his face and body, Obi-Wan
leaned against the doorway as Anakin nodded in understanding, blue
eyes wide as he stood and made his way to his mate.

Thankfully
he waited until Janna left to make arrangements
before wrapping his arms around Obi-Wan and guiding him back to the
bed. “You’re taking a hoverchair to our room, no arguments.” He
stated sternly.

Snorting
in exhaustion as
he wobbled back,
Obi-Wan nodded. “That’s fair. I just want to get out of here
mate, I want my own bed and privacy.” He murmured plaintively
before
chirruping softly as he was settled onto the bedside.

Instantly
there was a softer answering trill beside him, Anakin nuzzling their
noses together. “I know, that’s why I didn’t object to this.
Beside, I’ll look after you and our hatchlings.” He beamed
happily before stroking Obi-Wan’s face slowly. “Have you heard
from Qui-Gon?” Anakin switched subjects, knowing the healer would
be taking time.

Nodding,
Obi-Wan frowned slightly. “The Senate is being difficult despite
the evidence brought forward that Palpatine was involved in the clone
creation but he says they are making headway,” He stroked his beard
slowly with a deeper frown. “It also helps that Yan is chipping in
his credits and offering up space on Serenno  to take some of them and
I believe Senator Amidala is lobbying for some to Naboo too?” He
peered up at his mate, knowing Anakin kept a friendship with the
young woman.

Smiling
as he nodded, Anakin stroked Obi-Wan’s hair affectionately.
“Padme’s managed to convince the Queen that they should have a
standing army, a small one, after the Naboo invasion. I think its
mostly a ploy though, to get a few of the troopers safe on Naboo
really.” He frowned a bit before shrugging.

Snorting
in amusement, Obi-Wan wrapped his arms around the others chest and
leaned his chin on his mate’s chest. “That wouldn’t shock me
actually, she’s always been kind.” He mused thoughtfully.

Feeling
the sun warm Anakin’s back, Obi-Wan rubbed his face into the others
chest for a few seconds before just settling, relaxing with a soft
smile guided up at the other, trilling gently until Anakin joined
him, the two softly singing to each other as Luke and Leia squirmed
around in response to the song from their parents.

Life
wasn’t great, that was just how the galaxy functioned unfortunately
with all the misery sentient kind
could throw at each other among all the good and life in general.

There
were still big hurdles to overcome on
Coruscant itself after Palpatine’s fall,
still a Senate in motion and
chaos thanks to it no longer having a Chancellor that they needed to
elect anew and
still the clones to station
and fight for on the Jedi’s side.

But
Obi-Wan felt certain, regardless what was going to come, he and his
family would be ready for it even if it occasionally meant taking a
hoverchair back to his quarters and letting Anakin fuss over him.

As
long as Obi-Wan got to fuss a bit back of course heh.

They
would overcome those hurdles together, as all starbirds mates did.

I just finished rereading SweetHoney, it’s one of my favourites. Could you do more? I love that it’s JangoObi but I have always loved CodyWan interactions even when they aren’t the ship, maybe some protective «I love him but I don’t want to have sex with him that’s kinda gross» Cody (maybe even being the one to find him preggers cause of an after battle reaction?)

Glancing
back to find the General sitting quietly
against the fallen tree with
the bucket held tightly on his lap still
Cody had left him against, the Commander took a deep breath and
continued picking pears from the single fruit tree he had managed to
spot.

The
camp had been bombed and as a result they had all been scattered.

Cody
had managed to stick to his General side but he was the only one and
unfortunately they had no way of communicating the others and didn’t
dare to just go around calling for them as that could gain them enemy
attention and there was no way the alpha was calling the clankers
down on them when Kenobi was ill and injured.

Not
severely but Kenobi was throwing up while escaping and he had
sprained his ankle somehow at some point, limping from the moment
they had escaped from the camp during the night. They had only
stopped once they were sure the clankers weren’t following them,
some time in the early graying morning of the twin suns rising slowly
over the skyline.

A
humid sort of stickiness had instantly started up with the heat of
the suns but Cody didn’t mind too much even though he was
uncomfortable with
the wetness inside his armor.

The
General however looked very uncomfortable and had slowly, after a
glance at Cody, started to unwrap himself from his first layer of
tunic as
Cody pulled off his helmet and handed it over to the Jedi for safe
keeping.

Finally
having an armful of hard but ripe pears, Cody returned to the omega
and knelt down beside him. “I got us some food General, we should
eat while we can.” He encouraged quietly while offering the armful.

Sitting
up a bit, showing off the wet patches around his inner tunic neck and
armpits, Obi-Wan glanced warily at the pears before nodding and
taking one, carefully
setting the bucket aside.

Cody
placed the others on the log beside them before taking one for
himself while straining to listen for any danger coming close to
them, the need to prove himself for his omega pack mate and his
template strong.

He
wanted to prove he was a proper alpha even though he had yet to find
a mate like Rex and helping care for Obi-Wan in his weakened state
was one way of doing it for sure.

So
busy looking for dangers he barely noticed the retching noise until
it was almost too late, barely jerking out of the way when Obi-Wan
suddenly leaned over and threw up the little pear he had managed to
chew.

Dropping
his own pear, Cody moved around the man and placed his hands on his
back, rubbing slowly as Obi-Wan shuddered and threw up bile. “Easy
General, easy, I’m right here, it is going to be alright.” He
promised, mentally reviewing the list of what could be wrong with the
other.

The
problem was that it was a really big list of potentials.

Throwing
up could mean anything from a flu, cancer to pregnancy after all!

Wait…

Cody
mentally paused as a bird flew overhead, his hands moving on
auto-pilot to sooth the omega.

Pregnancy.

Jango
hadn’t outright stated that they were trying for cubs but he had
always looked hopeful after heats, nuzzling and cuddling the General
with his hands rubbing at the omega’s stomach as Obi-Wan smiled
sadly, knowingly.

So
that meant that they might be trying?

Or
at least letting nature take its coarse?

Leaning
in as Obi-Wan finally stopped retching, Cody took a sniff of the
others neck, getting omega pheromones, Jango Fett and…

‘Cubs.’
Cody sat back, pulling his canteen from his hip and pressing it into
the General’s hands, waving away the weak protests. “Rinse
General, you need it and we need to move soon.” He said sternly,
watching the man shut up at the strong command.

Cody
wasn’t using his alpha voice on him but Obi-Wan was still
responding to the sternness and also the overwhelming protectiveness
that Cody must be leaking into the Force that he didn’t even try to
control.

The
General was pregnant, he was injured, Cody and he was isolated from
the rest of the troopers and were without supplies but Cody was still
a proper alpha, he would take care of the omega and make sure they
both remained safe to reunite with the pack.

Retrieving
the canteen once the Jedi was finished, Cody tugged him close and
hugged Obi-Wan, rubbing down his back. “It’s going to be alright.
I won’t let anything happen to us.” He promised without exposing
what he had learned from the others scent, feeling faint tremors of
the others body.

Obi-Wan
stilled before pressing closer, subconsciously latching onto the
safety the other provided.

“I’ll
get you back to Jango.” Cody swore.

“I’ll

Moddy, Hoarder Seer left off on such an ominous note, I need to know what happens next!!! Is it Cody who gets poisoned? Is there a kidnapping attempt against Obi by the Sith? Or by bounty hunters??

Wretched,
painful sobbing filled the air of
what had been a calm evening of the Kenobi quarter after a nice meal
had been shared by the lineage and residents of the quarters.

Until
one of Obi-Wan’s cups had been broken.

And
while Skywalker flailed uncertainly while looking around with wide
eyes, Cody moved to his lover and wrapped Obi-Wan up in his arms,
cooing gently while rocking the man. “It’s alright Obi-Wan, we
can get you a new cup.” He promised in a sweet, desperate tone even
as he shot Anakin a dark glare.

The
Tatooine native jerked a bit, holding up his hands in surrender
before glancing down at the broken cup laying at his feet.

Or
rather shattered, there was no salvaging the cup when it was broken
into so many itty bitty pieces all over the kitchen floor thanks to
Anakin bumping into it while reaching for one of his own cups in the
cupboard and pulling it out with his sleeve or something.

Cody
had no idea really, all he knew was that there was a broken cup on
the floor and a very distressed Jedi against his chest.

“It
was a gift!” Obi-Wan wailed into Cody’s chest, his hands gripping
the other’s sides like a claw and actually that hurt a bit with the
pregnant Jedi’s nails digging into him like that but hell if Cody
was going to say that and further upset Obi-Wan when his emotions
were so unstable
thanks to his rather large pregnancy.

So
many hormones in motion at once.

So
Cody was trying rather desperately to calm down his sobbing love as
the blond was sweeping up the broken pieces with a contrite look on
his face. “Well, that makes it a bit harder but we could still look
for another like it.” Cody tried once more even though Obi-Wan
couldn’t actually leave the temple anymore, especially after there
had been an attempted break in by bounty hunters.

Much
to Cody’s horror and the consternation of many, one of the captured
bounty hunters had confirmed that they were there for Obi-Wan, a
bounty on the man’s head to be captured and brought somewhere and
the protection on the temple had once more been upped.

The
safest place on Coruscant was now the Jedi temple and in particular,
Obi-Wan and Cody’s shared quarters with the 212th
pretty much now living in the temple as they were on constant low
level guard with the Sentinels making frequent rounds where ever the
pregnant council member was.

There
was a loud hiccup against his chest, Obi-Wan raising his tear stained
face and red eyes to look at him. “But its h-h-hideous Cody!” He
choked out before going right back to bawling against the commander’s
chest as both clone and knight stared at the pregnant man and then
traded uncomprehending looks.

“…Geeze…
pregnancy makes people barmy.” He faintly heard Ahsoka whisper in
horrified awe
somewhere behind him, most likely still sitting on the couch where
she had been enjoying her snack with her grandmaster.

Thank
all sithhells that Obi-Wan hadn’t heard her as he continued crying
with Cody now absently patting his back and stroking his hair,
bewildered as he stared at the broken remains of the cup that had so
upset Obi-Wan and was apparently hideous.

‘Hormones
are scary things, thank all little goddesses that Helix helped me
find those pregnancy videos on the holo but honestly, I didn’t
think it be this bad.’ Cody mused to himself before gathering his
lover closer, feeling the bump of his growing stomach as Obi-Wan
finally started to quiet down a bit, sniffling into Cody’s wet
collarbone, the fabric of his civvies turned darker blue where the
other had cried.

“How
about I make you a nice cup of tea?” He murmured softly into the
others ear, knowing he’d need some fluid intake.

There
was a sniffle, Obi-Wan looking up as Anakin snuck by the two towards
the couch as stealthily as he could. “…With jam scones?”
Obi-Wan whispered quietly.

Softening
and pressing a gentle kiss to his love’s forehead. Cody nodded.
“Jam scones and some powdered sugar.” He promised gently while
passing his hands over Obi-Wan’s spine, gently steering the man
towards the kitchen as he waddled along.

Cody
couldn’t help but admire the other at that, Obi-Wan had, since his
belly started to grow, needed to switch to quite looser sets of
clothes and wore only his sash but no belt. His tunic must be custom
sew honestly considering there were special pockets on the front,
large squares that went from the hem to up to the sash where he
stashed his items now. Soft, dark brown leggings and slippers that
looked like bantha’s completed his outfit.

He
looked comfortable much to Cody’s satisfaction, something he had
longed to see the other since the start of the war and to see him
now, round and full of their babies in comfy clothes… well primal
urges.

Cody
would take on the scary pregnancy mood swings and hormones to see
Obi-Wan like this though he wondered if the other would ever allow
this to happen again.

Some
of those labor holovids…

Wrapping
his arms around his waddling love as they reached the counters, Cody
pressed a tender kiss to his temple while reaching for the water
boiler, Obi-Wan leaning into Cody’s space while slowly wiping his
face with his sleeve.

‘Guess
I’ll just enjoy it while it lasts.’ Cody mused, smiling when
Obi-Wan rested his free hand on Cody’s ass.

Yup,
enjoying it while it lasted.
