Hi I am honestly dying for more CodyWan baby. Padme implied that there was a plan in the works regarding Cody? Did meeting his kids affect Vader in any positive way? Will Cody, Waxer, and Obi-Wan ever get to be a family unit?
Grinning happily as the three babies bubbled at each other, Obi-Wan
slowly floated a lit up ball between the three as they tried to reach
for it as the round sphere changed between colors slowly and steadily
as they watched.
Waxer was a bit slower then the other two since he was younger by
nine months but he was still trying and that was delighting Obi-Wan
to see the amber eyed baby reach and giggle and tug at the ball with
his own Force abilities.
This young, desires had a lot to do with what they could manage,
desires and emotions controlling their Force ability more then actual
will on its own.
And wanting the ball were making them reach out to try and grab the
colorful ball sparkling at them, desire to have it in their hands to
play with or chew on as Waxer’s mind seemed to indicate.
Hmm, perhaps his little boy was feeling itchy in his teeth?
It was a possibility for sure and if so then Obi-Wan should ask the
medics for some gum rub for his little one if they could spare it.
“Come on now, try to roll it all the way.” He cooed, chuckling
when Leia firmly tugged at it and it floated closer to her before
Luke gave an almost insulted squeak and tugged it towards himself
while ‘scolding’ his sister for taking it away and Waxer giggled
at his two godsiblings and clapped his chubby little hands together.
These little play dates Padme had suggested were doing wonder for all
three of them, socializing Waxer with other babies and giving the
twins a new play mate to be with.
And he had a lot of time so he didn’t mind basically being their
primary caregiver while Padme was doing her work as General Amidala
for the Alliance.
Honestly he preferred it this way, feeling safe in the base with the
babies as he just played with them, changed them, feed them and
cuddled. It was a soothing balm to his cracked soul and broken heart.
Though he would admit that he was a tiny bit curious what Padme was
up to.

Staring at the unnaturally aged clone strapped to the gurney of the
guarded medical bay, Padme eventually turned to the twi’lek medic.
“Well?” She questioned softly.
“Well, we can operate the chip out. I can’t assure how he’ll
react after but we can remove it but there is risk to the surgery.” He murmured quietly before
gesturing to the Vahla beside him. “And Doctor Qu-urika can reverse
the aging process to allow him a more natural aging span, him and any
clones we should manage to come into contact with and free should they survive the removal.”
Doctor Qu-Urika smiled at her and Padme nodded in understanding at
the tall woman.
“Good… Obi-Wan will feel better once he has Cody back at his
side, I know that but if things are to go wrong… I’d rather he
not know Cody is here at all.” She sighed.
“We understand General Amidala, Master Kenobi will not learn of his
husbands presence from us.” The medic’s assured.
Padme didn’t correct them, for all intent and purpose, Cody was
Obi-Wan’s husband now that no Jedi order existed.
She looked back at the clone commander they had knocked out with a
gas grenade before glancing down the row of fellow clones. She
wondered if they were all from the 212th that Obi-Wan had
once lead or not…
It had been a well executed trap though she hadn’t thought they’d
manage to get the 212th first but… well it had been a
lucky hit.
They’d still continue taking the clones away from the Empire
though.
One purely selfish motivation of the Alliance was less skilled
combative for the Empire to use against them but on the other hand
these were people who deserved their own lives after what the
Republic and then the Empire had put them through.
And Padme needed Obi-Wan to smile again, if only to see her friend
happy for his godchildren and his own babe.
