This isn’t a prompt but some questions: have you ever started a story you liked/thought would be popular/get lots of prompts but it didn’t get a reaction? How about the other way around, something you felt was sort of boring yet it got lots of requests? And how about for certain plot twists you introduce within a story: can you see interest go up or down? Does it bother you or keep things fun? Sorry if this is intrusive, feel free not to answer, I’m just curious. Thank you!

Oh man yes. To all of this.

I won’t say it outright bothers me but it can be depressing in the ‘maybe I’m not doing as good as I thought I was? Maybe this chapter was subpar?’ way. At least when interests wane away.

Its always nice when things are popular but I get more antsy when interest is lost because it makes me wonder if I’ve done badly.

And there is a lot of stories I’ve felt have been in the Meh department that suddenly got a LOT of attention and stuff I thought would interest people went practically unnoticed. So its kind of a coin flip at this point.

It does highlight however that everyone is different and just cause I like it won’t mean everyone else will heh.

Blog information:

– Swasksandprompts
is run by one person. (This means shedule changes occure)

– It updates five
days out of the week, monday to friday and has four stories though
occasionally an extra one is updated.

– Not all prompts
gets written, those who don’t get are put in the weekly
thepromptrun

– Except for
existing series, prompts not used for existing series either get
deleted outright or they get written into the story via another as
its impossible to use all prompts and update five prompts for the
same story at once or if the prompts go in different plot directions.

– Moddy loves
feedback, reviews and the occasional ko-fi for those who can haha.
But yes, reviews are VERY loved.

– Some works will
remain as oneshots.

– All works related
to fictions gets reblogged the moment Moddy becomes aware of them
unless requested not to reblog

– Tumblr sometimes
eats messages, if you see nothing of a prompt for something new it
may be that tumblr ate it. If its for a series that I update I may
have opted not to go with it.

New headcanons for clones this time and
its not sad… well entirely sad.

As a child Moddy had growing pains so
bad it kept her from sleeping and made her cry and gave her
stretchmarks everywhere, even on the back of her knees.

Because of that I started thinking, I
didn’t become an adult in ten or less years so logic dictates that
the clones would have rather large stretchmarks generally all over as
I highly doubt the Kamino’s would dedicate resources to stopping
the harmless stretchmarks from becoming a thing since I highly doubt
Jango did not have some of his own.

Ergo, clones with stretchmarks along
their sides, back of their knees, along their legs, in their armpits
and along their arms.

Reminder that this is a masterlist of ALL my fics with tags and titles, I am still in the process of adding descriptions to them but this is slow going and I might be done somewhere around christmas time perhaps haha.

Hello Darling, I love your writting. I just have two questions, sorry if you have already answered these. But I’ll ask anyway, question 1. would you write a reader insert? Question 2. would you write an original character intercting with a star wars character? Like if there was a non force sensitive working with the Jedi, I think there is a group in canon who do that, somthing to do with Rangers I think. Maybe someone giving Mace some love? Sorry if this is just wasting your time. thanks :)

First of, thank you
so much for your praise. I hope you’ll continue to find
entertainment on my blog and honestly don’t worry about wasting my
time or if questions seems silly, asking them is the only way to
learn! But now onto the questions.

1, I’m sorry to
say that I don’t write reader self insert because I feel like if I
did that, I am liable to either one, offend someone and two, become
overwhelmed with prompts even more than I already are. I have only
written about five stories with me as an insert as it is and I tend
to stick to canon characters unless people outright ask for Knight
Moddy in a story context now.

2, once more, same
reason as before. I have written with my own original characters at
time but that’s pretty much it and even then I prefer going with
canon characters.
