You
know what I don’t get?

People
who spend their time complaining about everything or just devoting
time to complaining about a ship or a movie and making these long
texts about why something sucks.

Or
those ‘Everything wrong with this movie/series in ten minutes’ videos
on youtube. (Parody stuff is fine lol, when the video is mocking dislike videos but there are people who make genuine hate videos about stuff and it’s just exhausting)

Like
I don’t have the energy to be upset about stuff like that, why the
hell would I devote time and precious energy to complaining about stuff like that when I
know there are people who enjoy it even if it’s not for me.

It’s
just really simple to ignore it instead of being a jerk and
complaining.
Giving a review and just slamming something is two very different
things.

It
just feels so… unnecessary to bring more negativity into the world
over fictional things.

Also
it must be so tiring, to be so negative all the time and honestly it
must be toxic too?

Like
if you can devote time and all to constantly complain, what kind of
person does that make you into, just yikes.

I
just don’t get it. I don’t have the energy to deal with things
like that XP

Ps: Sorry for going on a rant but I’m so tired of seeing stuff like that on my feeds XD

Hi Moddy, in your opinion who’d have been the best master for Obi, Anakin and Ahsoka and why? If you think the current one is the best, then give the second best option?

Okay
so this is just my conjecture and nothing here may be right but…

I
think that for Ani, Obi was the best. There were a lot of other Jedi
out there but of those we know enough of, I don’t think they would
have done much better than Obi-Wan… except for one, Mace. I think
Mace and Obi-Wan are pretty level when it comes to training Anakin.

Mace
would have managed to temper Anakin better I think however, turn the
darkness into a weapon for light as the vapaad is built on using
someones darkness and tempering your own. But if Mace would have
managed any better than Obi-Wan in the end? Honestly I have no idea,
it would have depended on both Mace and Anakin and how they managed
to bond.

Obi-Wan…
fuck, Obi-Wan should have had any
other master than Qui-Gon really. I love the man, don’t get me
wrong, but ‘Focus on the here and now’ and all that crap when we
know that Obi-Wan had visions and a lot of them were reliable, firmly
squashing Obi-Wan’s powers in the unifying Force?

Yeah
no, Obi-Wan should have had someone who understood the unifying Force
and had an easier way of making himself a padawan considering how he
became Qui-Gon’s padawan by offering to blow his own life up.

Ahsoka…
well that’s a bit more difficult considering it’s almost canon
how she’s both
Obi-Wan and Anakin’s padawan and with both of them doing the
apprenticeship… well frankly I think she belongs right where she
was and would have become an ass kicking wonderful Jedi (she’s
still ass kicking in rebels, don’t get me wrong.)

What
was wrong was how the council treated her, not Anakin and not
Obi-Wan.

However
after those two? Plo.

Those
two would have fit well together with Plo tempering Ahsoka’s
cockiness and teaching her to master herself, the Force and the
galaxy around her.

I’m not really sure, on one level I pity them because as it comes forth from the series, a few of them were just scared and tortured but on the other hand, they are traitors who turned on their fellow Jedi. The ones who came after the order fell however are very sadistic so… I think I got complex emotions in regards to them but I don’t like them, that’s for sure.

2) what’s your favorite animal and why?
 

Real animal, wolves. I’ve always loved wolves because of how the pack
dynamic works, how they are team animals who are better at night.

Fantasy,
dragon. Oh boy I don’t even know how to explain why I love dragons,
they’re just bloody awesome. Eastern or Western, blowing fire, ice or
acid, flying or walking, monsterous or smart or just… I love em. I got
a collection and I want to tattoo dragons on me but just haven’t been
able to afford it.


3) I’m kinda curious; have you noticed a shift in pairing requests as time goes on? 

Well, a tiny bit? I notice that there’s less QuiObi than there used to which makes me sad and a lot more Obikin though I don’t mind the fact that Codywan, RexObi and JangoObi shows up more. I do miss the QuiObi though I have to admit,   

 
4) What’s your favorite story so far
      

Aw hell… that’s a hard question honestly but I think one of my all time favorite so far is actually Old and Sweet because of how Old Ben gets to fuck around with people really

How did you get the word out about your blog in the first place? Did you promote cross-platform, tell your friends, or just throw yourself out there for the gods to have mercy on you? Because I’m really impressed by your level of dedication and success.

thank you for looking for me!

But
I basically just threw myself out there.

I
started up the blog because I was bored and I had gotten into star
wars again and needed something to do with both what leftover time my
chronic pain didn’t steal and for the first few days or maybe it
was a week it was just a little activity, a few subscribers and then
I started a dimension traveling fic and suddenly BOOM. People poured
in, started showing each other my stuff, started realizing I answered
prompts for fic and from there things just developed.

It’s
kind of weird to think back honestly, it was such a small thing and
now there’s so many, there’s a ton of stories and I just keep on
trucking.

After
a while people wanted a more oversight of certain fics so I started
an AO3 account and people asked to donate so I started a ko-fi. And
since it was easier to tag kinks and adult themes on AO3, all the
lemony stuff ended up on AO3 for the most part depending on how
graphic or how deep the kinks went since I know some things aren’t
for everyone and that’s…basically how it went.

I
threw myself out there, I wrote and continued writing and people
responded to a mix of my writing skills and my personality I guess
since I’m pretty non-abrasive even when annoyed.

Tacking
on a nickname, Moddy, helped personalize me I guess and
it helped that I was honest about both English not being my first
language (being a Norwegian and all) and my dyslexia, made people a
bit forgiving to my mistakes.

And
yeah, that’s it. Start of Moddy’s blog.

For the newer readers and prompters, I now reblog this once again.

And for the genderbent thing since this is the reoccuring thing, there is SO many strong characters one could ask for *huggles Ahsoka plushie* (Ps, that doesn’t mean I don’t like them or get why others like them. I just don’t see why you have to change Anakin’s gender when you just as well could put Ahsoka in his place or even into Obi-Wan’s. Anakin as a female or male is still going to have the same personality and choice I wager)

No Self harm.

No paring with Palpatine (just ugh no)

No RexSoka (I know the clones are 10 but physically they are a lot older and Ahsoka is 14 in clone wars. If you want me to write some paring with her, we have to go up to Star wars Rebel’s age or something)

Actually Ahsoka in a paring with an adult in clone wars period. Crushes are fine, but I’m not writing her in a paring when she’s so young.

Edit:  I apparently need to say that but NO beastality prompt. Servalo Obi-Wan does not consider any humans in a sexual manner, like…no. Just no. I can’t believe I have to write this considering Furry is already on the list.

Hello! For new
readers I’m reblogging the stuff I won’t write and to update you
on how to request prompts. All you have to do is click on the ‘Hit
me with your best blaster shot’ and type in your question/prompt.
You can do it on anon or as your blog if you have it and from there
it comes to me if it doesn’t get lost in the internet.

I evaluate the
prompt, if the prompt is for a series and doesn’t fit in I may
delete it. If its a oneshot or a new prompt for something I will look
it over and I might write it or I put it in ‘Thepromptrun’ I do
every monday.

When I put them in
the prompt run, it means that I can’t write it but someone else
may! And that way the prompt won’t get lost and authors can peruse
them.

I don’t do prompt
via PM’s, only through the inbox, so be aware of that my giddy
friends.
