You had a story with Obi-Wan/Maul mating… What happens next in that one? Now that they’re starting to sort of make progress… sort of…

It was kind of
strange, being away from the temple in what was going to be an
apartment he stayed in at least three days out of the week or more
depending on what kind of relationship he built with Maul.

Or well how close
he got.

Anakin had been
banned from it for the first two weeks and the blond had eyed him,
narrowed eyed before suddenly blanching and grimacing. “You two are
going to have sex aren’t you?”

And that had
promptly lead to Obi-Wan turning as red as a fire shuttle and Qui-Gon
to clap him on the shoulder with an amused chuckle and a promise to
look after Anakin.

He wasn’t wrong
though, this close to Maul, with a mating bond, sex would be bound to
happen with how interested the Zabrak was in sniffing around him. And
the bed sharing.

Obi-Wan’s
stomach squirmed with nerves.

“Well aren’t
you just cute, being all nervous.” Maul drawled from his position
by the window, smirking at Obi-Wan as the Jedi finally turned to look
at him. “All flustered standing there by the couch with your travel
bag.” He continued, slowly pushing of the window sill and moving
towards him.

Struggling not to
turn tail and run, Obi-Wan instead clenched his hand on the strap of
his bag, watching the other until Maul was right in front of him.

“I’m not going
to hurt you.” Maul settled on saying, reaching out to Obi-Wan’s
hands and gently rubbing at the wrist and then up the back of the
hand until the pressure eased and Obi-Wan let his hands drop down
along his side. “You know I won’t hurt you.” He cooed softly.

“I-I know, I
just…I never.” Obi-Wan’s eyes shot to the bedroom door. Force,
he was twenty seven and never slept with anyone, not the full mile
not…

A warm hand caught
his chin and pulled him to look at the other. “Never what?” Maul
purred.

“…Never…slept
with…someone…been intimate.” Obi-Wan confessed, flustering to
his ears.

“…Never?”
Maul hands curled around his wrists instead, so close to taking him
by the hands that Obi-Wan allowed it.

“I just
never…I mean…I’ve explored, sure but I just never…did…all
of it.” Oh Force why was it so hard to tell the other.

But to his
surprise yellow and red edged eyes softened. “Then I’ll be gentle
when we get there.”

When we get there.

Not now.

Not forcing.

Obi-Wan lips
twitched into a minor smile and he nodded.

“Now, lets get
you settled.” Maul’s tone turned brisk, pulling him to the
bedroom with the grip he had on his wrists. “Closet, your things.
Then I have food in the kitchen.”

“Okay.”
Obi-Wan agreed. He was hungry anyway and was suddenly feeling…soft.

So he allowed Maul
to manhandle him around, get him settled into the bedroom, put his
things away and lead him to the kitchen. There was more meat then
vegetables since Maul was a carnivore but the other had taken the
incentive to fry some spicy vegetables as a side dish for Obi-Wan and
that was…thoughtful.

It was thoughtful.

Even if Maul spent
half the time scenting him as much as eating.

Master Koth had
explained what he could to Obi-Wan and the mating bond was apparently
very…demanding.

As was the
influence it would eventually have on Obi-Wan.

So far it was not
as intrusive as the Jedi zabrak had explained though Obi-Wan could
feel it on the edges of his mind, along with Maul, coolness on the
edge of a heated day, nightfall, dark and cool.

“Your mind is a
patchwork of shields.” He looked up at the comment to find Maul
watching him in highest interest. “I already knew it but I must
admit that is fascinating still now. Just layer upon layer of
shields.” He was closer.

“If you want to
be close, you can just ask.” Obi-Wan heard himself say, mouth dry.
“You don’t have to…”

Maul smirked. “If
I wanted closer, I’d be closer.” He chuckled deeply.

“What’s going
to happen come…later?” Obi-Wan ventured, needing to get a
conformation of what was going to happen.

“Bed, we share
it…what comes from it we’ll see. I’m not going to ravage you
without your permission.” Maul offered dryly though hunger flared
quite obviously in his eyes.

Oh, oh dear…well
that would be darkly promising…and fascinating.

Obi-Wan turned his
eyes back on his plate, heat in his cheeks.

MemoriesBurn is so breath-taking and offering thousand possibilities. I have been wondering how will the Temple population react to the changed Obi-Wan – white hair, altered sense in the Force, this kind of stuff. Or I dont know – may I just ask for a continuation? Thank you!

He held himself differently against his
Master’s side, calmer and perhaps more broken but clearly different
from the ways others watched him.

Something different in the way he moved
or perhaps in his eyes that he himself couldn’t see and while the
younglings could spot his white hair, master’s and knights could
spot something very different that made them still and whisper to
each other.

Qui-Gon kept his hand on his shoulder,
guise of guiding what was really support and a gentle mental touch to
sooth the fires raging in his mind as they headed for the transports
to reach Queen Amidala’s transport.

“Obi-Wan!” The two stilled at the
shout, Garen coming to a stop in front of them. “There you are, I
was loo-” He stopped, staring at Obi-Wan, taking in his hair and
his body language. “Obi-Wan?” He frowned before quickly bowing to
Qui-Gon. “Master Jinn.”

“Knight Muln.”

“Garen.” Obi-Wan smiled, searching
for his memories of Garen, of the others end but finding a blank
space for the other. Ben Kenobi had never learned what happened to
Garen Muln and perhaps that was for the best as memories of Bant’s
still body flashed across his mind like lava.

“You look…different Obi-Wan.”
Garen stared at him. “Did you dye your hair?” He tried a grin, to
laugh it off.

“And if I did?” Obi-Wan smiled a
bit more before looking up at Qui-Gon, feeling his Master’s hand
squeeze his shoulder. “Garen and the master’s coming with us
should avoid being seen by…certain entities.”

Qui-Gon’s eyes flashed in realization
to what Obi-Wan was not saying.

Palpatine.

Sidious was not to know about the extra
Jedi.

Maul was not to have a warning.

()()()

He had expected a reaction to seeing
Maul.

Had expected something but he had not
expected it to be a burning fire across his mind of memories of what
the other had done to hurt him. Qui-Gon’s death as Obi-Wan was
trapped in frustration and horror behind a red ray shield.

Satine cradled in his arms, her hand in
his, her last gasp of air as Maul moved away from her after stabbing
her as Mandalore fell apart despite it all, after so many years of
peace underneath Satine’s rule.

Obi-Wan felt everything boil beneath
his skin.

Pain.

Horror.

Desperation.

Fear.

Anger.

Fire carpeted his mind again before he
let it all go into the Force as his mind remembered saber moves his
body had never executed. He shot past his own master and the
accompanying ones before they had time to pull their sabers out.

There was no honor in battle.

You fought and you survived and that
was the blunted point of war that had been taught to the Jedi in the
future as Obi-Wan’s saber meet the lightstaff of Maul, the impact
traveling along their arms as they meet with all their strength.

Maul may not know Obi-Wan, but he
recognized battle ready and hardened souls when he saw them.

And Obi-Wan ignored the cry behind him
from his Master as he followed the Sith into the catwalks. He meet
each of the Sith’s blows with his own, more agile then the memories
he had received and moving quicker between each saber action as the
other Jedi followed after the Sith and Jedi.

“Kark Qui-Gon, what have you been
teaching that boy?” One of the master’s hissed.

“I could ask the same.” Qui-Gon
muttered as Obi-Wan executed a flawless maneuver that brought him
over Maul and onto the other side, boxing the Sith in between three
masters and one padawan.

The Zabrak snarled at them, taking in
the threat as he surveyed all of them.

And then he jumped off the catwalk.

Obi-Wan followed after without
hesitation but was forced to roll out of the way when Maul attacked.

Perhaps it was luck more then skill
that took down Maul in the end, Obi-Wan working as distraction,
throwing himself against the Sith with the master’s creeping along
until one of them landed a lucky shot that took of the Zabrak’s arm
before they downed him and jabbed him with a Force suppressor in the
shoulder.

The buzzing quiet after was only broken
by Obi-Wan sliding onto his knees and placing his head in his hands.

Qui-Gon left Maul to the other two and
hurried to Obi-Wan’s side, settling his hands on the others temple.
“I don’t know to call you foolish or brave.” He whispered,
stroking with his thumbs before focusing inwards to help sooth the
fires he could feel encroaching into their bond even.

Obi-Wan had been so good about
shielding it but it was impossible not to feel the ravages being done
upon his padawan.

“Perhaps its a bit of both.”
Obi-Wan whispered, wrapping his hands around the others wrists while
leaning into the comfort. “But its worth it either way. You’re
still alive.” He smiled before shuddering, pressing into the hands.
“Oh Force, please help me Master.”

“Shh, shh, I will, I will.” Qui-Gon
soothed at the flames with his Force.

‘Steady breaths Obi-Wan.
Steady…just…he can’t hurt you. The mating bond won’t allow
him to hurt you anymore then you can hurt him…’ Obi-Wan swallowed
as he kept his kneeling position by the lake, eyes closed.

Force was he really doing this?

Was he really going to let the Zabrak
find him alone and…

He colored sharply and shifted.

“Well well well, if I didn’t know
better, I would have thought you were waiting on me.” A soft voice
drawled. “But that can’t be now, can it Jedi Knight?”

Obi-Wan opened his eyes and looked up
to stare at Zabrak prowled towards him with his hands resting behind
his back and a smirk on his face.

“…I know about the mating bond.”
Obi-Wan countered, watching Maul stop for a few seconds before the
others smirk grew wider and he cocked his head.

“Well finally. Let me guess, the Jedi
Council sent you here?”

Obi-Wan nodded and stood, wrapping his
robe around himself as he felt to exposed underneath the others gaze
as it lingered on him. “They…they have an offer for you.”

“An offer.” Maul countered slowly.

“Me. And them not interfering with
the mating bond if you lead the Jedi to your master.” Obi-Wan tried
to feel brave, he really did. And then he took a step back when Maul
outright laughed after a few seconds as if Obi-Wan had said something
funny.

“What?” He questioned sharply,
shoulders tense.

“Interfere? With a mating bond? You
have to be joking, the only way they could interfere was fo-” Maul
stopped talking, eyes suddenly narrowing. “The only way to
interfere with a mating bond would be death.” He murmured.

Obi-Wan said nothing.

“They wouldn’t risk you.” Maul
growled sharply.

“A sith has a mating bond to me. A
sith and a Jedi. And no ones certain how it will affect me.”
Obi-Wan countered just as sharply before jerking to when the other
growled loudly. “…Like that. I don’t even know how its
affecting me but I know it is. I’m not scared of you but you make
me want to submit. That’s not me…that’s…that can’t be ME.”
Obi-Wan whispered, running his hand through his hair and disheveling
himself.

“Why can’t that be you?” Obi-Wan
jerked to at the velvet soft whisper right in front of him, backing
away in shock as Maul was right there in front of him.

“B-Because I don’t want to submit
to any-” Maul’s hand closed around his shoulders, pushed him
against the trunk of a tree, invading his space as he pressed their
bodies against each other with Maul purring into his ear quietly.

Obi-Wan felt himself tremble a bit
before slowly relaxing, making a low noise as Maul gently nipped at
his ear in a move that sent a flash of heat through his frame.

‘This…can’t just be me…can it?’

“Don’t you want to be taken care
of?” Maul rumbled into his ear, rubbing his shoulders slowly before
sliding his arms down around the humans waist. “Held, cared for,
loved?” He continued to murmur before nuzzling into Obi-Wan’s
neck, getting to where the scent was at its thickest.

“I…” Settling his hand on Maul’s
chest in the lack the lack of anything else to do, Obi-Wan tried to
engage his mind again.

“Because that’s what the mating
bond is there for. Possessive for sure but always loving.” Maul
continued, scraping his tongue along the pale neck.

“…If you want me cared for, you
will give the council what it wants, you can’t deny me being a
Jedi. I worked to hard for it…” Obi-Wan whispered.

The Zabrak grumbled a bit at that
before pulling away enough to look at him. “And me, what happens to
me if I give your Jedi council what it wants?” He sneered.

“You…” Obi-Wan swallowed beneath
those yellow and red tinged eyes but the Force around Maul felt to
him like the soothing nightfall after a humid and hot day. “…they
can’t…let you live in the temple…b-but an apartment close by?
For…us?” Obi-Wan swallowed again even as Maul’s eyes turned
considering.

“On Coruscant?”

“Yes.”

A fanged smirk as Maul caressed
Obi-Wan’s hips over the others clothes. “Then its best the Jedi
do some cleanup on Coruscant, since my master resides there now.”

“…What?”

“…What?”

ObiMaul, where Obi-Wan misses cutting him in half, but Maul still falls down the shaft – but after, when Obi-Wan is on missions with bby!Anakin, Maul is stalking him around – and occasionally shoving him up against walls, or fighting him, or saving his life, and just being very obsessed and confusing. Bonus for including Dathomirian mating instincts, and bbypadawan!anakin running interference for his master.

His back hit the wall fast and hard,
knocking the air from his lungs and dazing his mind as he felt an
overly warm body press against his body and a low purr emanating from
the dept of a chest, up through a throat and into his ear.

“Hello Kenobi.” A voice murmured
darkly as strong hands pinned his wrists to the durasteel.

‘Shit!’ Obi-Wan jerked his head up,
forcing himself back to the moment as he started to struggle on
instinct even as a thigh slid between his legs. “Maul!” He hissed
angrily at the former Sith.

The Zabrak just smirked and nosed at
the tender junction of his neck.

And then he promptly skidded away from
Obi-Wan as he was thrown, Anakin panting as he landed beside his
young master with wide blue eyes.

Obi-Wan wasted no moment to pull his
lightsaber and step in front of Anakin, eyes glittering with rage he
was having difficulties in letting go.

Not only had Maul basically assaulted
him, AGAIN, but Qui-Gon still couldn’t use his legs and had been
permanently removed of active duty rooster. And to top it of this was
not the first time Anakin had to save him from the damn Sith.

“I told you last time to stay the
hell away from me Maul.” Obi-Wan reached back to make sure Anakin
was not going to do anything silly.

The other just chuckled quietly,
standing up slowly and eyeing Anakin before focusing on Obi-Wan. “And
you think I’d listen?”

“I think you’re a damn dirty rat
who should stay far away from me.” Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes at the
other man.

“Is this because I hurt the old Jedi?
I didn’t kill him.” Maul shrugged easily. “Come now, don’t be
so difficult.” His eyes were glittering and Obi-Wan almost lowered
his lightsaber, an insistent tugging inside his mind before shaking
it off and pushing his padawan back while backing away.

“I am leaving, I am taking my padawan
with me and I swear to the Force, next time I see you I won’t be as
pleasant as now.”

“Until next time then Kenobi.” Maul
chuckled quietly, fading away in the dark as Obi-Wan and Anakin got
back onto the street.

“…That’s the fourth time.”
Anakin offered quietly, latching onto his master’s belt.

“I know, he’s a creeper Anakin,
keep that in mind every time we see him.” Obi-Wan offered briskly
even as he put a hand on the blonds head.

“Why don’t you just…” Anakin
nodded to the hilt of his lightsaber.

“Because…ugh…I don’t know
Anakin.” Obi-Wan sighed. He’d have to talk to the council once he
got back home because at this point it was getting ridiculous. “By
all accounts I SHOULD but…” He blew out his breath and then
squeezed the others shoulder. “Lets just focus on our mission.”

“…He’s still a dick master.”

“Yes, but…language padawan.”

The smell of bacta and a cold cloth
being gently wiped across his forehead was the first thing Obi-Wan
noticed as he woke up, whimpering quietly as he forced his eyes open
only to jerk and hiss when the first thing he saw was Maul.

“Yo-”

“Easy. You’re still injured. Your
padawan has been worried.” Maul offered easily, purring at him. For
some strange reason it soothed his nerves to hear and Obi-Wan stared
at him.

“Where is he?”

Maul turned and waved his hand at the
door, it swishing open to reveal Anakin standing there with wide
eyes.

The boy had a bacta patch but else
looked unharmed as he hurried into the room and took Obi-Wan’s
hand. Hmm, he must be drugged up, he couldn’t feel the touch though
he did try to tighten his grasp on the hand in response. “Its okay
Anakin, shhhh…”

“The creep saved us. The pirates were
about to blow your head up.” Anakin hiccuped and then clung to his
teachers hand even as Maul gave a low grunt at being called a creep
as he was looking over Obi-Wan’s toes.

“Hmm, these are healing at least, the
breaks were clean and easy to set.” He muttered to himself.

Obi-Wan just felt lost as he glanced
about. “Where…”

“My ship. The local medic centers are
not safe since you angered Gardulla.” Maul chuckled a bit. “Give
it a few weeks and she’ll forget your face. She dislikes Jedi
anyhow.”

The older Jedi blinked, staring at the
other and then looking at Anakin, eyeing the bacta patch before he
tilted his head back. “…Why are you doing this?”

The Zabrak raised both brows in
surprise then chortled. “You really don’t know?”

“I wouldn’t have asked if I knew.”
Obi-Wan sighed.

“Then its for me to know, and you to
find out.” Maul smirked before checking on a blaster burn further
up the others leg, muttering to himself about finding another jar of
bacta. The two watched him leave to fetch said item. “I’ll bring
back some protein shakes too, easier to eat with a swollen jaw.”

“…He’s been like that since he
saved us. He’s been just…weird.” Anakin whispered and then
curled closer to Obi-Wan. “I was so frightened when he
appeared…and then he just…took care of the pirates.”

“Weird, you can say that
again…I’ll…have to talk with the council once we get back.”
Obi-Wan breathed out then gingerly touched his jaw. “…After the
protein shake.”’

Anakin gave an anxious glance towards
where Maul had gone before crawling in beside Obi-Wan, resting
against his side with his head on the others chest, relaxing when the
older man stroked his scalp gently.

For the SithandChild series: Sith aren’t really well known for being so patient with kids. And I bet Sidious isn’t very happy with all his Sith underlings being all hearteyes! over baby!Obi. And it seems like Qui-Gon is trying to get rid of Sidious. Maybe we can see something come out of that?

The Zabrak pushed open the door without consideration for the meeting
inside, his face a thundercloud as he made his way to Serenus despite
the Count’s eyebrows going high in disapproval and the shocked
faces of the Senate members.

Serenus himself raised a puzzled eyebrow and leaned in to listen, his
face turning into a thundercloud too at what the tattoo covered man
was telling him before he quickly stood. “It appears Obi-Wan is
missing.” The sith surveyed the Republic and Jedi, his eyes glowing
in contempt and anger.

The apprentice trades a glance with the master, the two of them
engaging in none verbal communication before the tall sith focuses on
the Supreme Chancellor. “Give him back.” With that Qui-Gon swirls
out of the room, Maul on his tail even as Dooku stands slowly.

“It seems the negotiation will have to wait.” He offers almost
peacefully if it wasn’t for the way he’s clenching his right hand
on his belt as if he wishes he was wearing his lightsaber. “We
shall resume once we have located young Kenobi.” With that he
follows after the other two.

“Sidious has clearly taken him.” Qui-Gon growled at Yan as the
two went through the security footage. Maul, Savage and Asajj were
already trying to locate any signs of Obi-Wan where the child was
last seen. “If he has hurt him…”

“Patient Qui-Gon, it may be the Jedi.”

“They wouldn’t risk the treaty, not when its so close to being
done. Anakin may be overeager and prone to acting out but not here,
not now.” Qui-Gon clenched his hands on the desk and breathed out
sharply. “That leaves Sidious.”

“Sidious?” Both turned in surprise, Yan still in the chair and
Qui-Gon standing by the desk, to find Anakin standing in the doorway
with Kit Fisto right behind him.

“Ah, revered Jedi. I see you’ve come along to…” Yan let the
words linger in the air. Hinder or help, it was up to them.

“Obi-Wan needs to be found, regardless what.” Anakin stepped into
the office. “Both Master Yoda and Master Mace agreed and we have
orders to help.”

Yan and Qui-Gon exchanged long looks at that before the taller man
focused back on the two Jedi. “Then it behooves you to know that
Sheev Palpatine is also Darth Sidious, and he is currently very
unhappy about the peace being negotiated.” Qui-Gon gave the Jedi a
sharp smile.

It was almost amusing how Anakin’s eyes widened in horror.

Almost.

“And we can be sure that he is the one that has Obi-Wan because it
would serve both the function of destabilizing the negotiation and
show his displeasure with his former apprentices.”

“I…what?” Anakin wheezed.

Kit was blinking rapidly, as if trying to make sense of what he had
been told by rapid eye movement alone.

“He trained both Count Dooku and Darth Maul. He broke the rule of
two from the line of Bane. From there Yan taught me and Asajj and
Maul has taught Savage.” The tall Sith waved them off. “History
lesson done, we have a Obi-Wan to find. Anything Yan?”

“No.” The older man growled. “The cameras cuts out for ten
minutes while Obi-Wan is in the gardens. When they come back online,
Obi-Wan is gone and there’s no sign of a skirmish.”

“Theories? Obi-Wan would not have gone willingly with a stranger.”

“Drugs. He’s a child. Easy to pick up, easy to silence and easy
to carry away if you’re swift and use the Force. Especially if the
person is stronger then him.”

“You think he personally involved himself?” Qui-Gon frowned.

Yan shrugged a bit. “For the price of the galaxy and the
destruction of the Jedi? Yes.”

“Wait!” The blond was looking between the two older men. “Are
you honestly trying to get us to believe that our supreme chan-”

“If you believe it or not does not matter to me boy.” The Count
of Serenno stood, surveying Anakin with a look of contempt. “What
matters to me is that Obi-Wan gets found in a healthy condition. The
Jedi have lost their way but if I can make a piece of the galaxy
where I can do my research and be free of them, then I am content.”

When the two Jedi looked to him, Qui-Gon shrugged. “The galaxy
requires balance. To much darkness or to much light is not balance.
But for now Obi-Wan is our main concern.”

Usually one to take lead, Anakin instead looked to Kit for guidance
since the other was a council member and actually one Anakin
tolerated.

“Finding young Kenobi is more important then our…suspicions.”
The Nautolan settled on, nodding. “Suggestions?”

“Start where he was last seen. Maul, Savage and Asajj are out
questioning people.”

“If the Supreme Chancellor really i-”

“He won’t help us.” Qui-Gon laughed at Anakin and his naivety
“He wants this meeting to fail. He hasn’t killed Obi-Wan because
Obi-Wan is still a wonderful bargining chip. But if Obi-Wan is in a
healthy condition, I’m a banthas uncle…no, he needs to be found
and found swiftly. Or else we will have a corpse on our hand.”
Yellow eyes focused on the Jedi and they barely resisted the urge to
step back. “And if that happens, there will be a mountain of
corpses once I’m done getting my revenge.”
