Mermaid flash Jedi au idea (feel free to take your own stab at it)  
Rough synopsis ;  Jango  finds out he was  being used by Dooku a former Jedi, enraged he brakes off a contract for the first time in his life, and leads  the clones to not just take over Kamino  but a wast swat of surrounding  space. Thing is He, and the clones are not bad overlords, they deliver where the republic haw failed so over time a lot of planets instead of siding whit separatists or the republic side whit the new new mandalorians . Thus creating a 4 power in the war. An unpredictable variant Sidiouse and Dooku do there best to rain in. 
In the end they decide to make the Mandalorians the new common enemy by dehumanizing them. The first step is a mock treaty , where the republic as a peace offering  and an invitation to negotiate promises to send over a cure for the clones accelerated aging. 
Intrigued the clones accept the gift witch turns out to be more than a dozen of  carbonate frozen mermaids.  Instruction given by the droid clearly indicating there meant for consumption. (old myth that eating mermaid flesh will give you immortality) 
The clones are..understandably disturbed by the prospect, even is a part of them is tempted. In the end they keep the ‘specimens’ in a special  tank,while they discus what to do next. 
What they don’t know is that all the mermaids are Jedi masters coned in to taking this sacrifice as atonement for the orders sin’s towards the Mandalorians..
Lied to, they are under the impression that the clones do not wish them to speak nor interact. Thus leading some vod to question there sentience until  Boba strikes up a friendship whit one of the Padawans (yes kid mermaids are also included in the dozen…) ..and well kids are not the best at keeping vows of silence. ya know?
