So i ended up drawing some quick shitty comics for this au i have (once again in my civics notebook because that’s becoming my resident sw bs drawing area) but anyways

Basically the idea is that qui gon and obi wan didnt run into anakin on tatooine all those years ago but everything continued generally the same (except minus anakin). Id like to think that anakin still freed himself a bit later through podracing and also lost his arm and got his scar during that race. After that he became a very lucky mechanic,, Eventually during the clone wars anakin and obi wan meet on a mission and they hit it off (cause theyre the team™ duh) and shenanigans ensue

Also i started with this au almost entirely because i came up with the name mechanakin and i may not be proud of that but im sticking by it
