Bane/Sidious Sith or Revan Sith. And are we talking about pre-schism,
post, Yoda or Luke Jedi?
Because my friend,
there is a difference.
But if we are
between Sidious Sith and Yoda Jedi…I’ll go with Yoda Jedi.
Because Sidious is
insidious and dangerous and I’d rather not have my mind broken

And at least I get to oogle Mace, Obi-Wan, Aayla, and Anakin in the Jedi Order…window shopping for the win!

with a charming smile. He’s Anakin’s sweet master who deserves to
be held and tucked beneath his chin.
He’s Padme’s
vicious, honey tongued negotiator and Qui-Gon’s fiery and willful
padawan who needs a safe harbor.
Cody’s firm
General who needs a place where he’s not the General and only
Obi-Wan. Rex’s laughing cyare who mellows in his arms. And Jango’s
battle hardened Jedi with dancing eyes.
I guess I really
should do some alpha or dom or top Obi-Wan.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I love Qui-Gon Jinn.
But I’m not blind to his flaws, the start of Obi-Wan’s relation to him could have been better and he seems to have a singular mind when it comes to visions. Granted, Yoda could not have manipulated the situation and the Jedi Order could have treated Obi-Wan better but Obi-Wan was a child and Qui-Gon did a few things wrong in the start.
They got better and Qui-Gon never abused Obi-Wan that’s for sure.
Perhaps a bit neglect though?
I got to admit, most of what I’ve learned is through fics and wiki since I haven’t been able to read the book series of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

Well sometimes I have to write it in the position of the character that learns the information second hand, the way they understand it.
Anakin and Ahsoka and the clones…they didn’t know Qui-Gon, not really, their assumptions base their reactions and how the fic works if its settled in their point of view at the time.
Did Qui-Gon do wrong? Yes.
Was he a monster? No.
And he cared for Obi-Wan, we know that.
But he could be a bit blind.
That’s the thing about character, we love them for being humans. And humans…we’re full of flaws. All the fucking time.
