In SecondChoice part 1 it’s clear Obi knows he’s sick, he has an appointment – but since no one else had any idea, was it an appointment he made? And then a healer called to postpone? Postpone an appointment by a guy who avoids medical at all costs? If that’s the case I’d like to see the healer getting taken to task(well harsher, but Obi-ish term)? If it’s just a case of a regular appointment he decided to go to, then this is just an ask for clarification.

To be honest Obi-Wan has avoided his appointments like the PLAUGE but when this fic happens, he’s on Coruscant for several days at that time though and he doesn’t LOOK like a haste case, its just a regulare checkup, something Obi-Wan has actually been bouncing from without going to for years because like mentioned, Obi-Wan avoids the medical bay at all costs. But since its a regulare one, a life threatening case took priority with the healer in question and the appointment resheduled to the day after.

He honestly didn’t want to go to the appointment but someone (either Yoda or Mace) made it mandatory for him before he’d be shipped out because they have noticed him skipping the checkups. And there’s time now to get it done. But by then its to late, Obi-Wan is already way to sick and boom, collaps.

Anything you’ve desperatly been wanting lately dear mod?

Like…generally?

I mean yeah of course. Lately I’ve been wanting subscription for
international candies and snack boxes because I’m curious about
things from different lands. Also because I’m a food hog but its
pricy and I don’t really have money to spend on such things right
now, meds and bills comes first. On the high though, better health.
But don’t we all haha. Also kind of want a icecream right at this
moment but dinner comes first…oh well! Later is always a
possibility.

How do the other melodies react to an unchanged obi wan? Curiosity, suspension, confusion…? Ask or prompt, depending on how you feel!

Right now I’m going with Ask for reasons lol. But they are a bit curious and confused. But also in awe because Obi-Wan is a Jedi, they understand the concept I would believe, a peace keeper of the galaxy. But I think they’re also confused because how can Obi-Wan live comfortably when he’s so old and unchanged, doesn’t he miss the water? doesn’t he want to go as deep into a lake as possible? What about the galaxy outside Yavin 8, don’t they notice he’s different?

So its a mix of awe, confusion and curiosity. None of them feel like becoming Jedi and remaining in their human forms when Obi-Wan explains about the drying of his skin though and certainly not after he talks about desert planets where he’s almost died from lack of water after being captured by slavers.

Do you think all clones are kind of low key (or high key honestly) posessive of their lovers?

Honestly?

Yes. Yes I totally think they are.

I think clones in general are possessive of what is actually theirs.
Their generals, their armor, their blasters, their friends, their
vods, their squads. But I think they’re especially possessive of
their lovers because this is someone who sees them and doesn’t care
that they are clones. This lover looks past the surface (just like
most of their generals) and sees the person. Not the asset of the
Republic, not the some kind of factory made freak but the living,
breathing person who thinks and feels.

I also think that they can separate what makes the possessiveness
unhealthy and what just makes them endearing. I think they are quite
aware that their lovers are their own person too and needs to do
their thing. Its just when its them alone, they can hold and cuddle
and kiss them to their hearts content. They’re able to let go and
want to see their lovers flourish.  Of course, clones are all made of
different personalities so level of possessiveness might vary or even
totally abstain. They are after all varied humans.

Ps: I also think Mandalorians are kind of possessive and hey, they were made from Jango Fett in the beginning

Star Wars AU Question: If Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader managed to kill Obi-Wan in Return of the Sith without getting injured at all and later, he meets up with Emperor Palpatine, what would happen the former Jedi Knight? Note: In this scenario, Padme, Luke and Leia would all died in this scenario (the reason for that is because Vader choked his wife to death which in turn caused his children to die).

My best bet would be a empty, hateful shell of a man. There would be nothing left of the Jedi he once was because he sacrified everything for her, for Padme. And in a fit of jealous rage he killed his master and choked her and now even their children are gone.

There is nothing left for him but the hate for a galaxy that may in his mind be what took away his Padme from him. Lord knows delusions may be the way he goes. So he becomes Palpatine’s handsome, well known weapon, his puppet on a string despite Palpatine’s failure to save Padme because its all Obi-Wan’s fault. And the public after all knows this face, the face of the Hero with No fear who protects their new Emperor so why wouldn’t they trust this new regime. Because Anakin Skywalker always tried to do his best on the front lines.

Star Wars AU Question: If Mace Windu was assigned to be Anakin’s master, would things turn out great…or horrible?

I think it depends on how Mace approched it. If he kept his single mindedness about Anakin’s dark future then Anakin would most likly rebel and wouldn’t trust him and things would be horrible indeed because we see what happens when Anakin trusts the wrong figure, aka, Palpatine. Que and point the clone wars and Anakin kneeling for the Sith lord himself.

However if Mace Windu took a deep breath and decided that, fine this child has some darkness, but Mace is one of the damn creators of the vapaad who takes the darkness inside of them and works it to defend. So he takes this child and teaches him not to fear the darkness but to harness it yet remain in the light, effectivly turning Anakin into a grey Jedi and perhaps even a pride of his own lineage.

He teaches him dicipline and to balance his emotions and his powers at the same time and he keeps that fragile trust of a slave child freed from his mother. Perhaps his lessons in Force vision will be different, perhaps they go to Tatooine if only because this is something Anakin has to let go of and if the Force is sending him a vision then Mace decides its important to keep this woman alive. And Anakin, trusting his master, listens to him even if Shimi dies and doesn’t kill the tuskens. He leaves and buries his mother in a peaceful grave and talks to his master about all that troubles him.

Perhaps teaching Anakin to harness his darkness in the vapaad could save the entire galaxy. And perhaps when it comes to Padme, Mace teaches Anakin that its fine to love but that Anakin is a Jedi and in the end, life and death is the status quo of nature…but really Anakin, childbirth? just make sure she stays with capable medical droids and things will be fine. Mace is just not having his bullshit and pats him on the head, gives him a spicy meat skewer because honestly former padawan of mine, you’re turning into a skinny beanstalk of a man, what are the food rations out on the frontline like.

And that’s basically my thought on it…sorry it turned out long and rambling.

Would you ever write Obi wan/Palpatine

Ooooh boy, now there’s a pairing I never considered and honestly never wanted to considering how Palpatine looks like a goblin who spent decades underground in a moist sewer and then finally crawled out only to start wearing black. To be honest I can’t really imagen a state where Obi-Wan would allow it so that kind of story would be so non-con I don’t think I could handle it? Perhaps in a Au so removed from the original that it wouldn’t really be Palpatine anymore?
