Hi Moddy :-) If you are feeling in an A/B/O mood, may we have some more ‘onlyone’? The hunters/Council returns, and maybe finds that Anakin and ObiWan have been declining invites from the Supreme Chancellor, who is a bit annoyed by them ignoring him? And Obi admits that Palp’s gives him the same look/feel/instinctive shudder as Maul does(did)? Investigation time anyone?? Thank you!!

Not bothering to
lift his head off Anakin’s thigh at all as there was a knock,
Obi-Wan squinted at Ahsoka as the young togruta jumped to her feet to
answer the door at Anakin’s request. He figured she was only doing
it without argument because of Obi-Wan using Anakin’s lap as a
pillow but he wasn’t about to complain if it allowed him to keep
feeling comfortable.

“Oh! Master
Windu, Master Gallia. Please come in.” Ahsoka’s voice floated
over the couch and Obi-Wan shifted to sit up only for Anakin to
firmly but gently press a hand to his shoulder to keep him in place.

Grumbling faintly
but too tired to actually leave the comfort he was currently
enjoying, Obi-Wan watched as Ahsoka returned to her spot where she
had been working on her homework on the floor and then as Mace and
Adi came around the couch to sit down, greeting Anakin and Obi-Wan,
the latter with small grins at his obvious comfort.

It made Obi-Wan
whine at them then turn his face to hide in the dark leggings.

In that
distraction, Anakin quickly made a few hand signs to the other alphas
with curious and concerned eyes.

Adi responded just
as quickly with Mace letting out a frankly blood chilling smile for a
few seconds before he turned placid again.

Both the signs and
Mace expression made Anakin melt against the couch as he settled his
hand on Obi-Wan’s shoulder, rubbing it as he shielded Obi-Wan
against his relief at the information the two council members had
given him.

Maul and Savage
would never touch Obi-Wan again.

The council had
made sure that the threat against Obi-Wan had been taken care off.

“So, Kit had an
interesting message for us. He said you’ve been holed up in the
temple and every time you go to the Senate you’ve waited until
someone else could go with you.” Adi said out loud. “Something
you want to tell us Obi-Wan?” She questioned curiously.

That finally had
Obi-Wan turn his face away from the dark cloth to blink at her before
he gave a tired shrug. “The chancellor has been… inviting us to
speak lately. He’s…” Obi-Wan started to frown as Anakin peered
down at him curiously.

He hadn’t gotten
a proper answer out of him why Obi-Wan didn’t want to be around the
chancellor if he could help it. Perhaps he would now?

Shifting a bit,
Obi-Wan sighed quietly. “Look, this is just the impressions I get,
alright? They might not mean anything.” He glanced up at Anakin,
frowning.

The knight blinked
at that, suspicion creeping along his spine. Obi-Wan was worried what
he was about to say would upset Anakin, which meant it was something
bad about Palpatine.

“Just tell us
Obi-Wan.” Mace rumbled quietly, Ahsoka peering up from her work at
the adults.

Sitting up, the
omega ran a hand over the nap of his neck wit ha small frown. “He…
creeps me out. There’s something creepy about him that makes me
feel… tense and antsy.” He mumbled out, a small shudder going
through his frame.

Anakin blinked at
that, staring at it.

He’d seen Obi-Wan
do that shudder before in response to Maul but to see it in
connection to Chancellor Palpatine…

He shifted his arm
around him, feeling Obi-Wan flop against him a bit. “Well, best
keep you away from him then.” He offered airily, trying not to let
on his worries.

But it was
worrying.

Because Obi-Wan’s
omega instincts were usually right.

Which meant that
Palpatine was pinging it in a bad manner.

So MemoriesBurnMe is setting off on a mission, might it be to stop the production of the clones? And how will the long-necks react to that?

Each breath
wheezing through his lungs, Obi-Wan stared down at the dead bounty
hunter by his feet before slowly inching his eyes to meet the golden
eyes of Jango Fett as the man aimed his blaster at him.

The Mando’a was
too close for Obi-Wan to block in his tired and too far away for him
to take off an arm.

This was not what
he had hoped for when he’d seen the bounty hunter.

He’d hoped to
stop him, despite how painful that idea was, hoped to keep him from
accepting the eventual extended offer to become the template for the
clone army that one day killed the entire temple and bought the
Galaxy under the rule of Palpatine.

When he’d been
sent out with Qui-Gon, he hadn’t expected to encounter Jango
working as part of a team with another bounty hunter. Which lead to
this moment, Obi-Wan rain soaked and muddy, one hunter down but the
other still alive and fully able to kill him.

Closing his eyes,
Obi-Wan let his head lower a bit. He could hear Qui-Gon frantically
calling for him over the bond, his agitation opening up for Anakin to
hear them both and realize what was going to happen but he was just
too tired to be able to summon anything more then weary acceptance
for the blaster that he was sure… should… already have hit him?

Opening his eyes in
confusion, Obi-Wan looked up at the hunter again to find Jango having
pulled his helmet off, staring back at him with a scowl on his tanned
face as rain slid down his face.

Staring back in
confusion, Obi-Wan raised a hand shaking with fatigue to push his wet
hair out of his face. ‘What’s going on?’ This didn’t fit with
what Obi-Wan knew about Jango Fett and now he had no idea how to deal
with the man.

“I know you. I’ve
seen you in my dreams.” Jango finally growled out, eyes narrowed at
him. “You had red hair but I still recognize you, I recognize those
eyes and that mole.” He scowled, slowly holstering his blaster
slowly.

Blinking at that,
Obi-Wan had no idea what to say in response, only shifted his aching
legs a bit to stretch them out instead of continuing to sit on them,
the muscles aching now that he no longer had adrenaline or Force to
keep going.

Jango took one step
towards him before suddenly jerking to, looking over Obi-Wan’s head
and snarling in raw rage before he jammed his helmet on and shot off
with his jetpack just as Qui-Gon landed beside the white haired
knight hard enough to splash mud everywhere.

Obi-Wan even felt
some splatter onto his face but only tiredly wiped at it as Qui-Gon
growled deeply while staring up the cliff face Jango had jetted up
before the man visibly calmed himself and then knelt down by Obi-Wan,
touching him gingerly as Anakin finally caught up to his master, the
twelve year old panting sharply while leaning on his thighs, blue
eyes wild as he visually took in how Obi-Wan was.

Then Qui-Gon was
blocking Obi-Wan’s vision line as he knelt down, grasping him by
the chin. “Your shields are frazzled but still holding and you’re
aching and most likely going to bruised but not outright hurt…
thank the Force.” Qui-Gon breathed out before pulling back from
Obi-Wan’s mind. “When you messaged in you found them… we
thought the worst.” The master murmured before accepting a
hypospray from Anakin.

“He didn’t…”
Obi-Wan slurred, tilting his head to the side for Qui-Gon to set the
spray in his neck.

“Small mercies.”
Qui-Gon grunted, counting to ten before he attempted to lift Obi-Wan
up as the painkiller was quickly working its way through the
redhead’s system.

‘Strange mercies…
dreamed about me?’ Obi-Wan quietly wondered, glancing over
Qui-Gon’s shoulder to up the cliff, spotting a blurry dark shape on
the top.

Something told him
it was Jango.

So much sweet and fluffy for thesandtrap…time for the terror and angst? Maybe Maul getting his hands on ObiWan and ‘reminding’ him of ‘who he belongs to’? Followed by delivery to the city ER because he doesn’t want to KILL ObiWan, oh no, but finds Obi is a bit more fragile than he was previously? «Until next time, love.» (Shudder)

The
thing is that its easy to grab someone from a wheelchair if they
aren’t on guard because despite being in a chair and having
superior upper body strength, if
your lower half no longer responds, the muscles weaken and decline
until your weight is reduced.

And if
the person in question doing the grabbing is also quite muscular,
then its doubled so
easy when taking someone of guard.

Like
Obi-Wan has been at this moment as he’s yanked out of his chair and
into a van, yelling and trying to break the hold.

He
sees a rodian reach for their cellphone to hopefully call the cops
and sees a wookie racing towards him as the only one to physically
try to intervene but the van door slides shut before anything can
really be done and then Obi-Wan is being abducted.

He
already knows before he looks to the front of the van who he will
see.

“Take
the wheel.” The silky voice from the front shivered down Obi-Wan’s
back as he pulled himself towards the back door of the van, a vain
attempt at escape.

His
progress was all together halted when a knee landed at the middle of
his back to push him down to the shaking floor of the van. “Oh?
Leaving so soon dear one?” Was purred above him and Obi-Wan twisted
his head to look over his shoulder, staring mutely up at into yellow
eyes as Maul Opress smirked back down at him, the zabrak’s knee in
his back to keep him restrained. “So
hasty dear Obi-Wan.” He rested reached for Obi-Wan’s cheek only
to withdraw quickly when Obi-Wan tried to bite.

“Let.me.go.”
Obi-Wan hissed.

“Now,
now love, that’s no way to behave.” Maul smirked. “I guess I
just have to reteach you your manners my love.”

Carefully
holding onto the hand not currently needled full of lines or clipped,
Anakin stared at Obi-Wan’s pale face as the redhead continued his
slow and steady breathing with the doctors having done what they
could for him.

When
he’d been contacted by one of Obi-Wan’s police friends he had
been worried but when he had been informed the other had been
abducted and was asked if he had a key to Obi-Wan’s apartment to
get his things back where they belonged, he had almost thrown up from
the fear he felt.

Because
he knew the most likely suspect.

Maul
Opress had most likely acted finally since he broke out of jail.

Anakin
had spent a sleepless night, waiting for information, for someone to
find Obi-Wan and for the redhead to call him only for Officer Cody
Fett to once again call him to inform him that Obi-Wan was in
hospital.

He’d
been dropped off by the same van that been used to transport him away
during the initial abduction, been shoved out of the back of it in
front of the ER where he’d been quickly brought in by nurses for
the doctors to care for him.

And
kriff, Obi-Wan had needed it.

He was
on death’s door when he arrived, pale as a sheet from blood loss
with broken bones and lacerated skin.

The
bruises were the least of his problems.

The
fucking zabrak had put Obi-Wan through a world of pain, his entire
body covered in obvious knife wounds with the biggest ones being
Maul’s name carved into Obi-Wan’s stomach.

Anakin
didn’t even want to know why.

All he
knew was that Opress was a twisted son of a bitch.

Obi-Wan
had been awake a few times but not for longer then a few seconds and
Anakin didn’t believe he was fully aware of where he was.

All
Obi-Wan seemed to know was pain and fear at the moment as the first
thing he’d done when he woke was to cry quiet tears for a few
seconds.

‘…I’m
here Obi-Wan… I won’t leave you.’

Thank you Moddy!! I love VaderInTime! He is such a manipulative little dear ;-) Would he perhaps also be ensuring the other Sith of his time not develop now? Maybe Dooku gets a lot more contact with his lineage? Other Fallen or Dark maybe subtly getting directed to the mind healers? («Anakin has SUCH a way with identifying troubled Jedi! We are so pleased with his development.») LOL

Staring at the teen
in disbelief, Obi-Wan finally choked out a few words. “You drew
dicks on the lecture table with glow in the dark paint?” He got out
weakly.

Rubbing his clearly
paint coated hands together, Anakin smiled meekly up at the other
before shrugging a bit. “Eum…” He shuffled a bit though he
didn’t get far with the grip of Yan Dooku on his shoulder.

Rubbing his
forehead, Obi-Wan slowly looked from Anakin and up to the older Jedi
beside Anakin. “I am so sorry Master Dooku. I don’t know what’s
gotten into him, Anakin is usually more well behaved.” He winced,
not wanting to admit to the man that sometimes the teen acted out
when he was bored.

He honestly didn’t
think the older man would appreciate the thought that he was boring
Anakin.

Snorting a bit,
Dooku finally let go of Anakin to let the boy scuttle to his master’s
side.

Settling his own
hand on Anakin’s shoulder, Obi-Wan gave him a sever look.
“Apologies to master Dooku Anakin.” He scolded quietly.

Looking up at the
redhead and then back to the gray haired man standing there with a
raised brow, Anakin bowed to the Jedi master. “I’m sorry great
grandmaster Dooku.” He mumbled out, peering up at him.

Obi-Wan’s brows
jumped up on his forehead in surprise before looking at Dooku again
with new eyes as Yan let his hands drop a bit from his surprise.
“…You know who I am.” Yan said in bemusement before a slow
smirk crossed his face. “You did this on purpose.”

Anakin apologetic
face slowly morphed into a small, devious smirk.

Staring at the teen
in in flabbergasted shock, Obi-Wan finally drew his hand over his
hair before he let out a slightly hysterical laugh. “Oh Ani!”

Pulling his eyes
off the tea leaves steaming, Vader peered at the couch where Obi-Wan
and Dooku were speaking about Qui-Gon, both laughing over some of the
most vicious beasts the long haired Jedi used to feel responsible
for.

Dooku had even
regaled Obi-Wan with tales of how the mans padawan had at one time
smuggled a nexus cub into the temple and tried to hide it in their
quarters.

‘He looks happy.’
Vader smiled to himself before reaching into one of the lower
cupboards for a tray to put a plate on with scones on. Obi-Wan had
started keeping them when he discovered Vader had a taste for them.

Now he was going to
serve them up to his great grandmaster and master as the two spoke
about a person they had both held in fondest regard.

‘And maybe, just
maybe Obi-Wan can heal a bit with Dooku perhaps deciding to stay in
the order because his grand- and great grandpadawan needed him. It
was a gamble Vader was willing to take because there was always
someone else who’d become the apprentice Palpatine needed but for
now, he would deny him anymore from his linage that would damage
Obi-Wan’s fragile heart even more.

He’d be the steel
cage around Obi-Wan’s heart, the shield to guard it and all the
emotions he hid beneath a placid mask.

Glancing back when
he heard a soft laugh, Vader smiled to himself at the warmth in
Obi-Wan’s voice and the stirrings of warmth in Dooku’s eyes, as
if the ice around a frozen heart was slowly melting in the face of
this redhead.

‘Yeah… he has
that affect when he’s genuinely happy.’ Vader wanted to comment
but kept it to himself.

Instead he just
basked in the pulsing light that was Obi-Wan at that moment.

Thank you Moddy!! I love VaderInTime! He is such a manipulative little dear ;-) Would he perhaps also be ensuring the other Sith of his time not develop now? Obi-Wan’s voice and the stirrings of warmth in Dooku’s eyes, as
if the ice around a frozen heart was slowly melting in the face of
this redhead.

‘Yeah… he has
that affect when he’s genuinely happy.’ Vader wanted to comment
but kept it to himself.

Instead he just
basked in the pulsing light that was Obi-Wan at that moment.

Empress Amidala/MPreg ObiWan hasn’t had any love in a while. How is the pregnancy progressing? And is Palps dead in this one or lurking around? Maybe lusting over the bright spark in the Force that is Luke/Leia/baby for an apprentice? Is Cody going to show up and react well/poorly(chipped)/deadly? Curiousity has been on hold for ever! (grin)

And as the world
continued to slowly spin, Obi-Wan grew bigger and bigger with his
pregnancy progressing every week with a steady rate with both his
wife and husband doting on him and the twins cooing and gasping in
awe at the fact that they were going to be big sisters and brothers.

Anakin and Padme
were not the only ones hovering around him, the troopers too had
started, especially when it became obvious that Obi-Wan was pregnant
and not everyone could hold their tongue in regards to his state.

Regardless where on
Coruscant Obi-Wan was, he was never actually fully alone unless he
was in his office, in the loo or back home in the apartment. Though
most of the time his protective troopers turned into hovering
bodyguards were more shadows then anything else, just making
themselves obvious to anyone so they wouldn’t make a comment or try
to hurt Obi-Wan.

It was…

Soothing in a way
Obi-Wan had to admit. He wasn’t as worried about someone
potentially deciding to take out the Empress and Emperor newest
family addition somehow by targeting him and his stomach.

Because children
were innocent and Obi-Wan could hear them already in the Force.

And yes them.

He was carrying
twins, it seemed the genes for twins were tightly twined into Anakin.

But that made him
worried too as he hit his fifth month marker, waddling through the
barracks to get to the skycar that would bring him home.

Multiple fetuses
made early births always guarantied and because of his age, Obi-Wan
worried it would be a too early birth. He hadn’t shared that worry
with the other two though, he knew Anakin would worry himself to
splinters if he did and Padme…

Well Padme would
take it with more calm but she would insist on a twenty four-seven
medic presences everywhere Obi-Wan was and Obi-Wan could do without a
medic while he ate breakfast thank you very much.

So he tried not to
put too much worry into it and instead let Anakin and Padme spoil him
when they were home, Anakin always quick to rub his sore and aching
feet and ankles with Padme pulling his head down into her lap and
running her fingers through his hair to help sooth him through the
worst of his morning sickness though the name was misleading since
Obi-Wan had it more towards the evening.

Though she
continued even after that stopped because Obi-Wan enjoyed the soft
affection, the redhead a bit needy as he cuddled either Luke or Leia
depending on which of the kids were the calmest as Padme stroked his
hair and Anakin played with the second twin.

Quiet family time
and love and affection as Padme ruled the Empire with Anakin as her
enforcer and Obi-Wan quietly ensuring that the troopers were well
treated by all their commanding officers that were not vode though as
he closed in on the seventh month marker he was wondering if he
needed to stop working.

He tired out more
quickly, needed help to get up even from chairs and his feet…

He actually had to
walk around in slippers because he no longer fit into proper shoes
and that was a bitch and a half if it rained. More then once his
clone guards, (among them Cody) had carried him to the skycar when it
rained to ensure his feet wouldn’t get wet like the first time it
happened.

But when all was
said and done, it was so worth it, all those months, the pain, the
discomfort and whining when he held two little girls with soft
strands of copper and baby blue eyes as Padme and Anakin cooed over
them with Obi-Wan aching from the labor he had gone through and
feeling the painkillers rushing his system as he allowed wife and
husband to take a newborn each.

He wasn’t sure
what the future would bring, but he knew he had a chance for
happiness as terrible as that was after everything.

But he and his
family was alive, he could have that at least.
