Besides the Star Wars universe. What else are you interested in? Do you like the MCU? Harry Potter? Also do you prefer reading or watching TV?

Hp for sure, it was actually what helped me learn to read. I’ve mentioned before that I’m dyslectic and HP (regardless of author actions) helped me break through the reading barrier, so 1-5 at the very least will always have a place in my heart. I was honestly so impaitent when fifth book came out that I didn’t wait for them to translate it and bought the fifth one with my birthday money in english. I spent a week on summer vacation, constanty reading HP 5 and I’ll include the picture of me sitting on top of a large oven during our hutt vacation in Norway to show you just how long I spent reading. Still don’t know why I picked to sit on the oven but I got peace and quiet there haha.

As for other things. I do like MCU, Iron Man is my favorite. I used to be into Buffy, I watched the Overlord Anime and the same for Boku No Hero and geeze the amount of TIME I was into Naruto as a teen I will never escape lol. I was into a lot of anime when I was younger, Fullmetal is something I fully support everyone reading.

And outside of that, I mostly just game. Dragon age and Mass Effect are some of my favorite series.

Hi Moddy! I was wondering what you think of Qui gon Jinn? Your fics show different perspectives of him so I was curious

Okay so first of, I find him a hot and interesting character.

That said… I also understand he’s a deeply flawed and hurt man. A human with traumas, strong conviction and hurts and someone that has lashed out at people that don’t deserve his scorn. He’s also a person that is fierce, compassionate and wants to help, even when the order he serves and the Senate the Jedi is suppose to obey tells him no.

He’s someone, just like everyone else of us, is trying to live a life.

I don’t blame him for having traumas honestly, I do blame him for taking it out on people that don’t deserve it though, as we’ve seen in canon stuff that he’s behaved like a arse to Obi-Wan.

And I blame Yoda for pushing a apprenticeship on him, using a child to heal an adult.

But yeah, that’s my opinion of him. Just a human with flaws and good sides.

Cause there is no such thing as a perfect human.

Light through the cracks feels like it’s coming to a close but where have obi-wans friends been in all of this? Or I would love to see more of worried alpha father pretty pleased. Absolutely adore your writing.

Not bothering to look up when the door hissed open as it was most likely either an apprentice healer or a droid coming with his lunch and medication, Obi-Wan continued reading.

It wasn’t visiting hours for Anakin yet, the other was still in lessons and the healers and council members had extended his alone time for Obi-Wan to manage himself for whatever he wanted to do, even leave his rooms to the rest of the temple should he wish, though if he wanted to go to the salle, he would have to be accompanied.

His healers had also approved a wider range of crime novels for his datapad and he had quite eagerly gotten into the Black Tooka, so he’d finish the chapter and then eat and take his medication once he could mark down the end of the chapter.

It was quite the intriguing piece of literary work, he really had to give the author kudos because it was actually set in the Jedi temple, a senatorial aid having been murdered on the steps of Coruscant Jedi temple.

The author must either know a Jedi or have been intimately involved with the temple at some point because they were honestly writing the daily lives of the Jedi quite well.

There were a few details that didn’t quite fit, some oddities of how the Jedi spoke and when the perspective shifted to the Jedi, it seemed like the Jedi masters were omnipotent.

But that could happen with outsiders writing Jedi characters.

The author most likely had quite the experience with a Jedi master to give them that impression.

“I knew that your readings tends to absorb you but I thought you’d at least look up!” A familiar, laughing voice broke into his concentration.

Head snapping up, Obi-Wan blinked at Quinlan grinning at him, the kiffar’s thumbs tucked into his belt and his dreads swept back in a ponytail to keep them back.

With a cry, Obi-Wan dropped his pad to the carpeted floor as he sprung from the armchair, throwing himself at Quinlan to hug the other as tightly as possible. “Quin!” The stewjoni cried out, clinging to the other human as tightly as he could.

Laughing, Quinlan hugged him in return. “Guess you missed me,” He teased lightly before shuddering and hugging Obi-Wan even more tightly somehow. “But then again, I missed you too.” He murmured.

Nuzzling slightly into the other, Obi-Wan let out a shuddering breath before pulling back, glancing at the door and then at his friend. “I… I thought I wasn’t allowed visitors?” He mumbled.

Snorting, Quinlan pushed him towards the armchair until Obi-Wan sat down, Quinlan sitting on the arm of the chair. “Yeah, Garen, Reeft and Bant aren’t allowed, their shields aren’t thick enough yet. But due to my peculiarities, my shields were already ready, so I could visit the moment I got here.” He grinned, wiggling his gloved fingers at Obi-Wan.

That took Obi-Wan a moment, blinking at the other before his mouth formed a small O.

Quinlan had psychometry, his shields had always needed to be thick and protective in case he touched items related to violence and darkness to deal with the potential backlash.

The only reason Anakin was allowed to visit was the bond he and Obi-Wan had and even then it had to be in company of a council member that could put barriers in if needed. It was why no one else had visited outside of the council and healers.

“But hey, they’re currently learning how to thicken their shields, so they’re on the way too,” Quinlan stated lightly, reaching out to play with Obi-Wan’s shoulder length hair. “Also, dig the hair. Gonna be long enough for me to braid it soon.” The knight chirped happily.

Snorting faintly, Obi-Wan leaned into the touch of his childhood friend. “You just want to play with my hair.” He stated dryly, a warm glow in the bottom of his stomach.

“Guilty,” Quinlan laughed, still teasing the hair with his hands. “But hey, as for excuses, that’s one of the better ones, right?” Quinlan beamed down at him delightedly.

Laughing, Obi-Wan leaned to the side until he could rest his arms in Quinlan’s lap and his head on his arms, letting the other work his magic.

It felt so nice, the touch of someone that was familiar with him, that knew how to be soothing and supportive. Of course the council and healers were and Anakin was always close to him but it was different with Quinlan.

Quinlan had known him for so long, they’ve been through hardships together and Quinlan was an adult.

It made it easier to lean on him and Obi-Wan let out a soft, relieved noise of comfort. “Yeah… its one of the better ones.” He agreed softly, humming faintly when Quinlan let his fingers stray lightly down the nape of his neck.

And knowing that Bant and the others were working on their shields…

Everyone was waiting on him, everyone was still there for him.

‘Don’t stop fighting. I won’t stop fighting.’ Obi-Wan breathed out heavily, soaking in Quinlan’s warmth and comfort as the other started talking about his latest mission and about Aayla.

In Snow White purity, Obi-Wan and Anakin are Master/Padawan and have a training bond, right? Maybe Obi-Wan got a little hint of what Anakin was up to after he went to bed, and what he was thinking about while he did it?

Doing his best not to stare at his half naked padawan as the blond came stumbling into the kitchen area of the rooms they had been granted for the negotiation, Obi-Wan tried to nonchalantly continue sipping his tea.

Frankly, he was grateful his beard hid the amount of blushing he was currently doing and that his hair was long enough to cover his ears and neck up, because he knew that those turned red when he was blushing hard enough.

But come on, what else was he suppose to do after all the things he felt last night!

Anakin was usually good at shielding but last night, his bond had gone wide open for a while and… Force, Obi-Wan had not expected a wanking session of all things.

‘I shouldn’t have lingered, I should have put up my own shields when I realized what he was up to.’ Obi-Wan mused as Anakin sunk down at the table with a cup of coffee, grunting quietly. “Good morning padawan.” He greeted.

His tone of voice must have come off oddly because Anakin paused, the cup almost at his lips as he instead squinted at Obi-Wan. “…Morning master. Are you alright?” He rasped out, finally taking a hurried sip of hot caff.

Clearing his throat, Obi-Wan nodded. “Indeed. The princess just sent a morning message, that’s all.” He stated.

Instantly, Anakin sat up, narrowing his eyes as he glanced at Obi-Wan’s comm and Obi-Wan flustered as he felt a small whisper of protectiveness and possessiveness trickling through their bond.

Anakin did not like the prince and princess rather obvious interest and intention to Obi-Wan.

Not that Anakin had ever liked it when someone tried to make Obi-Wan a notch on their bedpost.

“What kind of message?” Anakin questioned, tone slightly clipped as he took another sip.

Pausing, swirling his tea a bit, Obi-Wan contemplated if he should tell the truth or not before shrugging as it wouldn’t do any good to lie to Anakin anyhow. “Well, she has a very lovely negligee in glimmersilk that I’d love to know where she got.” He stated dryly, watching Anakin over the rim of his cup.

Anakin stared at him in return before taking a deep breath through his nose. “Right, blocking her number once we leave the planet. Got it.” He growled out before standing and stomping over to the fruit bowl, aggressively starting to peel an orange.

Obi-Wan watched, trying not to feel too guilty about quietly ogling the sight of warm, tanned skin that practically shone in the light bright sun coming in the kitchen window.

It was a nice sight, Anakin’s muscles flexed and shifted beneath his skin and any scars only added to the sight.

It made Obi-Wan’s fingertips itch to touch, to caress and he tried, really tried not to feel like an awful pervert.

“Did you eat?” Anakin spoke, breaking Obi-Wan from his thoughts as he looked up at the others eyes instead. “Or are you just having tea this morning?” He questioned disapprovingly, coming over with the peeled orange.

“I’m not really all that hungry Anak-” Obi-Wan protested only to shut up when the other quickly popped an orange boat into his mouth.

Glaring up at his smug padawan, Obi-Wan chewed quickly. “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you taught me that Master. So you’re going to eat something, anything before we leave the quarters.” Anakin stated imperiously, sniffing faintly while haughtily raising his chin.

Chewing, Obi-Wan let out an amused snort, setting his cup down so he could hold out his hand.

With a grin, Anakin dropped the rest of the orange in his hand and moved back to the fruit bowl as Obi-Wan slowly started to eat the orange boats.

Warmth was echoing through Obi-Wan, the feeling increasing with every boat as both he and Anakin quietly enjoyed a fruity breakfast, both of them stealing glances at each other every so often and smiling awkwardly when they were caught by the other.

Moddy, know you’ve done blind!Obi and AnakinsPadawan!obi but I was wondering if you could maybe do blind!Obi as Anakins Padawan? Ps. I love your writing!

Anakin Skywalker does not want a new padawan.

He does not need a new padawan.

He had a padawan.

She’s gone now, due to the council and the Senate and even Palpatine, a man that Anakin had always thought he could trust to help him out.

But Palpatine hadn’t helped Anakin’s padawan, even after Anakin had gone to the man and practically begged him and yet, despite knowing that he could, Palpatine had not helped Ahsoka. Anakin knew that he could.

He wasn’t stupid, he knew how much power the Chancellor had been steadily getting throughout the war, emergency protocols put into place.

He could have helped.

Then Anakin would still have his padawan and the idea of a new one would not be necessary.

He understood that Qui-Gon couldn’t help, the man was the maverick of the Jedi order for a reason, the council listening to Qui-Gon properly was as likely as Anakin growing wings.

And to be fair to the council, the Senate had involved itself in the proceeding.

After that it had all become a shit show anyhow, the Senate and politicians were never considerate to the Jedi, all of their efforts to reach out were usually brushed aside, requests for information denied, for more lenient actions…

Anakin hated politicians.

Not even Padme had properly helped, the Jedi had so little influence in the Senate. ‘I thought she fought for those who couldn’t fight themselves.’ Anakin thought bitterly as he crossed his arms over his chest. He knew that Ahsoka hadn’t made the situation any better by running away but she was young and scared and he understood her better than he understood Padme.

The situation was making cracks appear in their relationship, Padme knew he was angry with her.

In the end, only one person had really helped Ahsoka, Ventress.

Ventress had been the only one to truly, honestly help Ahsoka.

And with the lack of aid and trust, Ahsoka had left.

Anakin no longer had a padawan.

‘So why does the Force lead me to you every day?’ Anakin glanced up through his bangs, leaning back against the tree trunk as he watched the boy in Initiate clothing sitting by one of the many rivers of the Rooms of a Thousand fountains.

He was a near human or maybe even baseline human of maybe twelve or closer to thirteen from what Anakin could tell, bright copper hair tied back in a small nerf tail and pale skin that were covered in freckles from sun exposure. A cute button nose and a smiling mouth but the most drawing feature were the boys eyes.

Because he had a bright pink scar, crossing straight over his pale green, unfocused eyes.

And Anakin recognized the type of scar, carrying several himself.

It was a lightsaber scar.

The boy had been blinded by a lightsaber at some point of his life.

The Force had been consistently leading him to the boy for several days now.

In the commissary, in the salle, in the halls, hell, even the one time Qui-Gon got him to volunteer down in the creche to get his mind off things, the Force had drawn him to the boy.

And now in the large gardens of the temple.

It should have been improbable for Anakin to come over the boy, as large as it was, the boy could have been anywhere and yet, here he was, sitting with his leggings rolled up to his knees, his feet in the river and a cane resting over his lap.

He seemed content, swirling his feet in the water slowly but…

He was all alone.

‘Why is he all alone? Where are his friends?’ Anakin swallowed a bit. He knew that many padawans were unfortunately out in the front but they tried not to send too young padawans out. He and Ahsoka and Depa and Caleb were one of the exceptions, not the norm.

So where was this boy’s friends?

Tightening his arms over his chest, staring at the boy, Anakin breathed out slowly as the Force practically pulled on his tunic, whispering furiously. “…Fine, fine you win. I’ll talk to him at least.” The Force instantly turned smug much to Anakin’s annoyance as he pushed from the tree and made his way towards the boy.

‘Why did I have to be a Force child? Annoyingly loud, that’s what you are.’ He inwardly complained, keeping his steps light but enough to make noise, not wanting to scare the boy.

The crunch of leaves alerted the boy about four meters away form him and he turned his head, sightless eyes curious as they flickered in Anakin’s direction. “Hello there.” The boy chirped.

Anakin’s lips twitched slightly.

He knew the kind of impression he left of in the Force, it could be hard on even masters sometimes to have to do with him. This youngling however seemed unbothered and unafraid. “…Hello there youngling. What’s your name?” He questioned, coming to stop by the boys side.

Peering up at him with those sightless eyes, the boy gave a guileless smile. “I’m Obi-Wan Kenobi.”

Sliding to his knees beside the boy, Anakin stared at him. “…Hello there, Obi-Wan Kenobi.” He whispered, ignoring the Force triumphing in his mind.

Anakin Skywalker hadn’t wanted another padawan.

And then he meet Obi-Wan Kenobi.
