Hi hope you are a having a good weekend. Thanks again for writing such wonderful stories that make us fall in love with the characters that you write. If you have some time coming can you continue Hoarder Seer…I want to see those babies and hope that Cody is going to be perfectly fine.

To add insult to injury after the poisoning of his love, the stress finally tipped over for Obi-Wan’s body as a trickle of water ran down Obi-Wan’s thighs, followed soon after by a slow contraction of pain even as Cody’s color was improving with the antidote spreading through his system, fighting the poison.

The babies were going to be born, regardless if Obi-Wan was ready or not though how long the labor would take was uncertain.

It could take everything from a full day to maybe half a day since Obi-Wan was still in the early stages of labor with his water breaking, the occasional contraction hitting along with his backache.

And Force did Obi-Wan have to go to the bathroom occasionally, a female togruta medic quickly explaining that one of the children were most likely laying against his bladder as she helped him out of his normal clothes and into a long medcenter gown that thankfully reached his knees, leaving him easily exposed for the time to come when he would be dilating.

She had also assured him that should an accident occur, that would also be completely natural even as Obi-Wan turned bright red at the suggestion of wetting himself and the bed.

‘Thank Force its been eight months, the kids are fully developed.’ Obi-Wan thought shakily even as he was being settled into bed, his hips hurting severely enough that the doctor wanted him in bed, the medic theorizing that as a male birth, his hips were preparing for the birth and they might need to set them after.

The nurses scuttled about quickly after helping him into bed, sending wary looks towards the troopers now stationed in his room as they moved around them as they kept a close eye with them in return.

After the poison attempt, Wooley had enough and had set up guards directly in the room as he and Qui-Gon dealt with the poisoning attempt, crowding it a bit with the nurses trying to get Obi-Wan comfortable with Cody settled on a second bed in the room, watching closely with worried eyes.

Helix was at Cody’s side, taking care of him since the poisoning had left the commander exhausted and numb. “Its just a temporary side effect for now,” Helix explained to both, eyeing one of the nurses before looking back to Cody. “You just need rest and fluids, though you have to take it carefully for a few days since the poison strained your organs, but I’m pretty sure you aren’t going far right now.” He looked to Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan gave a breathless laugh at that before grunting slightly as one of the babies kicked him. “If he leaves this room for anything but food or the fresher, I’m gonna get up and kick him.” He huffed slightly.

That got a laugh from Cody, the trooper relaxing into the bed. “If you got enough energy to be sassy, you got a while to go still.” He stated softly.

Warmth spread through Obi-Wan at that, smiling slightly at his lover as one of the nurses covered him up with a blanket to keep him warm.

Cody had taken the pregnancy seriously, reading almost every article of relevance to a multiple pregnancy and childcare.

Hell, Obi-Wan suspected that Cody had also tried some hands-on experience down in the creche a few days when he and Cody weren’t together but he hadn’t asked.

But it made him feel loved, that Cody invested that much time into their future, into his care and their children care.

Huffing faintly as a contraction took him by surprise, Obi-Wan rubbed his belly slightly. “Has anyone called Anakin?” He questioned, snorting when he got a round of surprised looks first and then sheepish ones. “I suspect by the looks on everyone’s faces that he has not been informed of any of this?” He stated a tad dryly.

“I’ll inform him.” Helix offered, giving his vod a pat on the shoulder and then heading for the door, stepping out so he could take the call without the constant buzz of noises in the room being an issue.

Turning his head to look at Cody again, Obi-Wan smiled slightly. “So… our kids will be coming soon, you ready?” He teased gently, even as a thrum of nervousness went through him.

Because what if Cody wasn’t?

What if Obi-Wan wasn’t?

Cody however gave him a tranquil smile. “Cyare, after everything this war had to throw at us and the weird Force osik I had to put up with, I’m ready for anything. Just as long as I’m doing it with you.” He informed almost cheerfully, melting Obi-Wan’s nerves away.

As long as they were doing it together.

Smiling, Obi-Wan gave a nod at that as he rubbed his stomach in slow, uneven circles.

So, after the last time in Snow white purity, do Obi and Ani share bed again?

Letting out a surprised yelp while knocking his heels against the wall in an attempt to get away from the others feet, Anakin gave a wide eyed stare at Obi-Wan in the dimmed down cabin as the Jedi master smiled sheepishly back at him, giving a small shrug. “I told you my feet were cold.” He stated guiltily.

When the two had entered the cabin they’d be bunking in for their return back to Coruscant, Anakin’s nerves had almost shot through the roof when he noticed there was only one bunk, the only available cabin being a couples cabin and therefore it was a double ‘bed’ instead of two singles.

They would have to share and while they had done so before, Anakin had never shared with Obi-Wan while in his new, silky attire.

Obi-Wan too had seemed a bit uncertain but had smiled at him, patting him gently on the shoulder as they set their bags down and dug out his toiletries to prepare for bed.

And Anakin, much to his own horror, found that he had left behind his sleep pants in the castle in his haste to get away from the darn princess and prince that kept frigging hitting on Obi-Wan. That meant he would have to sleep in his boxers and only those.

He could of course put on his leggings but he was suppose to walk around in those in the day time and did not need more sweat and dried skin in them!

He didn’t need to reek!

So, that left him to sleep in his boxers with Obi-Wan in his cute pink sleep wear.

If Anakin had popped a boner before from simply sharing the bed, it was nothing against what would happen now and he was terrified of making Obi-Wan uncomfortable around him again. Because Anakin was totally aware that Obi-Wan became uncomfortable after he had an orgasm against Anakin’s thigh.

And if that happened again now due to Anakin not being able to control his hormones…

Well, at least he wasn’t about to do it now, because despite being warned when Obi-Wan saw he didn’t have pj pants, he had no idea Obi-Wan’s legs would be that cold.

Shame on him, considering he was warned prior to Obi-Wan crawling into the bunk, the two facing each other since the bunk was thankfully big enough for it, Anakin laying on his left while watching Obi-Wan nervously as he came under the large blanket.

“Force master, what is wrong with your feet?” Anakin surprise turned to concern, reaching down automatically to rub at the others knee, using the Force to heat up the others feet a bit quicker.

Obi-Wan let out a soft noise, giving him a stern look before sighing in relief when Anakin was clearly warming his feet, stifling any scolding the older man was about to give him. “Remember when I mentioned how my hands were always cold?” He stated softly, his minty breath washing over Anakin’s face.

Anakin scrunched up his face, slowly rubbing his thumb over Obi-Wan’s knee still. “Um, faintly, you told me this years ago…” He mumbled, thinking back before pausing, staring at Obi-Wan. “Wait, didn’t you say you had circulation issues?”

Nodding slightly, shuffling closer to Anakin unconsciously, Obi-Wan sighed. “Yeah, its mostly due to surgeries I’ve had, my circulatory system isn’t as good as it should be, so my utmost extremities are quicker to become cold, so my hands, my feet and the tip of my nose for example easily become cold.” He shrugged slightly, trying to fib it off.

Grunting unhappily however, Anakin mumbled then reached out with the Force, tucking the blankets fully around them to avoid letting in any cold air. Then he ordered the cabin to go five degrees warmer. “I’m not having you cold master.” He huffed at Obi-Wan before quite firmly ordering the lights out, his right arm coming around the other to rest around his waist, hand settled on the others mid back.

After a moment, Obi-Wan let out a soft sigh, a mix of exasperation and pleasure as he pressed his forehead to Anakin’s collarbone. “Alright padawan, we do it your way.” He stated softly and much to Anakin’s surprise, yet pleasure, he slowly felt Obi-Wan sneak an arm around him in return, settling in a mimicking pose to what Anakin.

It was comfortable and Anakin let out a soft hum, closing his eyes.

He could get used to this, he could very much get used to this every night.

Obi-Wan warm and pliant in his arms as the man held Anakin in return, despite the cold fingers touching along his spine. And yet they were quickly heating up, soaking in Anakin’s warmth most likely.

‘I’d warm you any time you’d need Obi-Wan, any time you want. You just have to ask.’ He nuzzled slowly against soft, copper hair, resisting the temptation to drop a kiss to the top of the others head.

Not yet.

But soon.

Soon he could cross that barrier too.

#MerSong- Ani, Obi, and Jango talk. Ani gets to feel reassured that Obi will not leave him.

Curled into the other mer’s side, Obi-Wan couldn’t stop grinning at Jango. Ocean waves, his face hurt from how much he was smiling!

Finding Jango again felt like a damn dream, he’d never expected to find a familiar, friendly face again.

Not only had Obi-Wan managed to find an alpha that suited his taste, that he was maybe going to form a proper mating bond with but he had also found his old pod mate and friend. Even if things fell through with him and Anakin, he was guaranteed a home with Jango and his brood, because there was no way Jango would leave him to fend for himself.

Jango had always been a protective person and Obi-Wan couldn’t imagine parenthood had changed him

And speaking of parenthood… “I still can’t believe you managed to parthenogenesis, and so many of them!” Obi-Wan glanced around the cave, feeling Anakin’s arm latch around him as if he was an octopus instead of a mer.

He didn’t notice Jango’s amused stare at the blond’s needy action, absently patting Anakin’s hand on his waist instead.

“Yeah, I have no idea how I managed that either. And not all of them look exactly like me either,” Jango shrugged, reaching out to pull on Rex’s dark blue tail, the blond yelping and whacking his father with his tail before giving a burst of speed to get behind Anakin and Obi-Wan, avoiding retaliation. “Though, they’re all little shits.” Jango smirked, scratching at his chin.

Laughing, Obi-Wan shook his head and fluttered his fins at Jango. “As if you weren’t one at their age? We were in the same pod, I know what you were up to at their age.” He teased back, humming happily when Anakin nuzzled at his hair.

“Still can’t believe you’re here,” Jango mused, resting back against the cave wall, tucking his hands behind his head. “I was sure you’d already be mated ages ago to… oh hell.” Jango sighed suddenly, eyeing Obi-Wan with sharp, knowing eyes. “Satine choose another, didn’t she?” He asked grimly.

Flickering his tail, Obi-Wan glanced warily at Anakin.

It felt disingenuous to talk about Satine with Anakin there.

As if admitting the reason he left his former pod was because he wasn’t picked.

“Obi-Wan.” Jango stated sternly, frowning at him.

Sighing, Obi-Wan pressed into Anakin’s side. “No. She didn’t. I don’t know why and I didn’t have a place in the pod anymore, you know how many omegas there were in the pod, if I’d stayed, then there be no one I was compatible with.” Obi-Wan admitted quietly, fiddling with Anakin’s fingers on his waist.

Of course, mating wasn’t all there was to life, you didn’t have to have a partner or pups…

But Obi-Wan had wanted.

And he had thought Satine wanted the same with him.

‘Doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter, the ocean is bit a there are other chances.’ He turned his head, smiling up at the confused looking Anakin, the blond tightening his hug when Obi-Wan smiled at him.

“Whose Satine?” Cody, one of Jango’s older sons, asked.

Honestly, Obi-Wan could see himself getting quite well along with Cody and it seemed that between Rex and Cody, one of the two would be the leader after Jango, both powerful and commanding but Cody a bit more rigid than Rex.

“Someone that Anakin is very lucky is a moron,” Jango stated dryly, accepting one of his sons into his arms to cuddle, Obi-Wan taking notice that this one was an omega of all things and seemed to be damaged, scars stretching over their body and their tail not moving correctly. “But to answer you better, Satine is the clan head of my former pod, her father was when I was still in the pod.” He shrugged.

Cody frowned slightly, blinking before looking at Obi-Wan, putting two and two together.

Letting out a deep snort, Jango continued cuddling his son, another with a five of all things tattooed on his forehead coming closer to rub at the others back. “She was always a moron. Guess that’s to our boon though, you were always the cleverest of the podlings in group hunting. Never saw anyone take down a shark as easily as you did” He gave a toothy grin, laughing when Obi-Wan flushed at the impressed gazes he was getting from Jango’s brood.

“My boon, that’s for sure.” Anakin agreed quietly, the words only meant for Obi-Wan as the mer smiled shyly at his old friend, settled into Anakin’s side on the sand.

‘Yeah… this is my new pod. My new home.’ Obi-Wan nuzzled Anakin, chirping faintly at him.

He was home.

How do you feel about Padme’s character development throughout the prequel trilogy? Also, how do you think she died? For someone as passionate as Padme, I doubt she simply «lost the will to live.»

Okay so, a lot of things could have been done better, she started out decently but by the third one… I mean REALLY, ho shit that’s just… they went with THAT option.

There are literal concept sketches where she goes to Mustafar to kill Anakin but THAT’S the thing they go for, her ‘losing the will to live’. I am SO angry, the man pain, the gal just… NGGH!

Her character development was good in the third one even honestly, UNTIL that. Cause you know what, this line will always be iconic

That line will forever be as iconic as the child queen that took back her planet, as the senator that wanted change, as a woman that FOUGHT and tried her absolute best and no, she wasn’t always the best but as I always argue for when a character that is in basis good does something wrong… they’re human. And I can’t fault them for fucking up, when I myself can be petty, wrong and angry.

And Padme always tried to do her best… but… one of her flaws is that love blinds her as we see with Anakin. I would have loved to see them go with the concept of her trying to kill Anakin but failing due to how she loved him and him still choking her and the damage being too much for her with the babies coming.

But the losing the will to live? that’s bullshit and I will never be on board for it.

Padme was a Queen and she deserved so much better.

#thesnailsarefree: how are the boys holding up? Is Anakin going to be knighted soon? Is Palpatine scheming behind the scenes? Are we close to the clone wars? Has Ani’s monster side claimed Obi as his?

Peering sleepily down at his waist, Obi-Wan mentally wondered when this had become the norm as the shimmery white tentacle tightened its grip around him, the warmth of the person sharing the same bunk as him comforting along with the surprisingly reassuring presence of the tentacles wrapped around him.

‘Oh, right about the time Anakin developed more other features. Right.’ Obi-Wan yawned sleepily, the amused thought reminding him of the initial reaction to the additions.

That had been one hell of a morning when Anakin had come running out of his bedroom in the temple, yelling for Obi-Wan in a high pitched, frightened voice that had Obi-Wan almost running into the door of his own bedroom in his haste to get to the other.

It had taken Obi-Wan hours to get Anakin to properly calm down after, his own heart beating a mile a second as the sight of Anakin having tentacles coming from his armpits as if they were additional arms. They were just as thick as Anakin’s arm at the forearms closest at the torso in the same shimmery white color as Anakin’s head tail but with shimmery gray circle markings over them on the top and he had suckers in a darker gray color on the underside like an octopus would.

Which was strange, considering Anakin’s headtail seemed to be more related to the slugs around the temple but Obi-Wan wasn’t about to make comments about that when Anakin was having a panic attacked mixed in with body dysmorphia due to having gained tentacles.

Pinky had also been distressed by both Anakin and Obi-Wan, the little critter chirping and whimpering in Obi-Wan’s neck as Anakin cried and flailed his tentacles around.

But, as with everything else from Obi-Wan’s third eye to Anakin’s own headtail, they got used to them and Anakin adapted to them quite remarkably Obi-Wan would say, using the additional appendages on the sly when anyone was watching and more obvious when it was just the two of them.

One of the things they had early learned was that, when sharing a bed with Obi-Wan as they often had to do during missions, the tentacles would wrap themselves around Obi-Wan.

Latching on tightly, as if he would disappear in the night.

The first time it had happened, Anakin refused to look Obi-Wan in the eyes and had tried to tie his own tentacles to his body come night.

Which Obi-Wan had promptly scolded him for of course.

He didn’t mind the experience, it was odd yes but frankly, he’d rather have Anakin wrap them around him in his sleep than the other doing something that could potentially damage him. And the tentacles had required bacta after Anakin’s little stunt, the skin red and irritated from the material and harshness Anakin had treated them with.

The skin was shockingly delicate if Obi-Wan was honest.

Not something he was used to thinking with Anakin but well, a little adjustment period.

Still, it was strange just how comfortable he now was with the tentacle.

Petting the white appendages around his waist and stomach, Obi-Wan glanced at the chrono, grunting when he noted it was the middle of the night still.

He could feel the rumbling of the hypermotor that was still in use, which meant that they were in a hyperlane and still far from their destination.

In the hollow of his neck, Pinky gave a sleepy chirp, nuzzling slowly into him in a comforting motion. “I know, I know.” Obi-Wan mumbled, reaching up with his other hand to carefully rub at the slug’s head with a gentle rubbing motion.

The action had displaced him a bit as Anakin’s coils tugged him back into his body, the blond letting out a soft mumble as he spooned more up against the warmth of the Obi-Wan’s body, an arm coming up to flop over Obi-Wan’s chest.

‘I’m going to miss this when he’s knighted…’ Obi-Wan paused, letting out a shaking breath as he let the thought linger a bit. Then he let it go into the Force.

He wouldn’t loose Anakin just because he became a knight, they’d still be former master and padawan and they would become equals and hopefully friends at that point but…

He’d miss this, this comforting feeling of being together, because he doubted they’d get as many missions together and Anakin would be going for solo missions as all fresh knights were to.

Which meant that Obi-Wan would have to enjoy this for as long as it lasted, slowly rubbing at the tentacles wrapped around him until he fell asleep once more.

Secret we carry- Wasn’t Obi-Wan originally attacked in the shower? I don’t think he’d have a good reaction to hearing someone enter the room, even if he did ask Anakin to return…

Stepping into the communal showers, Anakin glanced around as the door shut behind him before moving to the bench with Obi-Wan’s clean clothes. It had taken him a bit more than the ten minutes he had promised, mostly because he had meet up with Cody and Helix, the latter looking a bit better than early.

Cody had looked gray though and Anakin had nothing to say.

What could he say?

Nothing he could say would make Cody feel better, those words would have to come from Obi-Wan.

Sleep or rest at least had been good for Helix and he had approved of Obi-Wan wearing his own clothes after all of this, the medic citing that Obi-Wan needed familiarity and comfort and while he couldn’t leave the medbay, the clothes at least were green lit.

There was a quick, snapping lurch in the Force, freezing Anakin in place at the suddenness of it. “Anakin?” Obi-Wan called out, but his voice came of… oddly.

Anakin glanced down the stalls, finding the closed one where he could spot a pale foot peeking out since Obi-Wan was sitting on the chair and surprisingly, he noted that Obi-Wan was using the water shower, not the sonic. “Yeah, its me. I found all your clothes, even the fuzzy pair of socks you got for your birthday from Yoda that one year.” He called back, trying to keep his voice light.

But Obi-Wan’s voice and the momentary panic in the Force…

Relief came in a soothing wave moments later followed by shame and Anakin frowned to himself as he placed the clothes down on the bench.

But he didn’t say anything.

Obi-Wan had been broadcasting quite a bit lately his shields erratic at best but since he was the only one that could feel it on board, Anakin wasn’t going to say anything. Obi-Wan had the right to not be feeling his best right now and Anakin would throw hands with anyone that made an issue of it.

But the fear…

Sitting down, Anakin decided that he was going to keep talking, telling Obi-Wan about the gossip Ahsoka had been feeding him with.

It seemed to work, Obi-Wan didn’t respond beyond the occasional hum or one syllable reply but his Force aura eased out.

It was almost as if… as if knowing who was in the room with him made Obi-Wan feel better.

It hit Anakin with the weight of a shuttle transport and he had to quickly layer his shields around himself to prevent Obi-Wan from feeling his rage and realization.

The one place in a jail where you were vulnerable, the one place where guards weren’t watching all the time with ‘low’ threat prisoners.

The showers.

Swallowing thickly, his mouth pooling with saliva as he resisted the urge to gag, Anakin reminded himself that the perps were still in jail.

And that Anakin could very easily find the information he’d need.

‘Keep calm, Obi-Wan needs you calm. Rage won’t help him. He’ll misunderstand it and think I’m angry at him, not for him.’ Anakin coaxed himself calm, taking several seconds to breath as he wished he brought along the stress ball Ahsoka gave him a few months ago as he grasped at empty air.

“Anakin?” Obi-Wan piped up, shuffling inside the shower stall. “Are you alright? You went quiet?” Obi-Wan inquired uneasily.

“Oh, sorry, I got lost in thought Obi-Wan.” Anakin was so grateful the other couldn’t see his face as somehow Anakin managed to force a nonchalant tone of voice.

Obi-Wan let out a small hum but thankfully didn’t seem to realize something was up or at the very least didn’t ask questions. “Right, you were saying about Kit Fisto?” Obi-Wan prodded lightly.

Huffing slightly, Anakin leaned his elbows on his knees as he squinted at Obi-Wan’s feet from under the shower stall. “Right, okay so apparently, and this is allegedly so I’m not calling him out or anything of that sort of thing, keep it in mind Obi-Wan.” He tacked on teasingly, smiling to himself when Obi-Wan chuckled slightly. He’d do anything to make Obi-Wan laugh right now, even if it was faint and quiet.

Anything to make Obi-Wan feel better.

Okay so lupine copper, Moddy, I got two words for you. Sled dog! Or well, sled wolf really haha.

Lifting his snout to the biting wind and snow in an attempt to catch the scent of any settlement at all, Obi-Wan let out a mournful howl when he couldn’t catch even the slightest trace and nervously, the werewolf glanced back at the sled he was currently pulling.

Qui-Gon was injured, they were suppose to be hunting down the rumors of a core run slavery ring run on Alderaan of all places, Queen Marna Organa having personally requested Jedi intervention to ensure that if such a thing was really present on Alderaan, it would be uprooted and burned to remove the taint from their planet.

And they had been finding leads that lead Qui-Gon to believe there was an actual slavery ring on the planet.

The leads had lead them to the mountains and they had prepared appropriately for the trek up through the mountain passes and snow.

What they had not prepared for when they found the base of the slavers that had stationed themselves on the planet, was the avalanche the slavers in their desperation had triggered to get away from the Jedi.

They had all been buried and Obi-Wan, in his shock and fear, had forcibly transformed, his body forcing him into his larger wolf form that was easily the height of Qui-Gon’s hip and he had dug himself out of the snow after a befuddled moment of shock.

The issue with that was that in his wolf form, Obi-Wan couldn’t use the Force well, his Force senses were different, muted in a way and Qui-Gon had intended for them to train more and see if Obi-Wan could extend his Force powers.

They hadn’t had time for that yet, so Obi-Wan had to rely on his animal senses to find his master.

It had taken him half an hour to find his master afterward, whimpering as dug Qui-Gon out of the red tainted snow, coated as it was by Qui-Gon’s blood.

Qui-Gon had broken his right leg, the bone poking through and his ribs were clearly fractured too.

Everything around them were broken or ruined but Obi-Wan had eventually managed to find a broken hoversled and ropes, using paws and teeth to make a basic harness and wrap onto the broken hoversled.

It might not be hovering but at the very least he could pull it on the snow and it would glide.

He had also managed to find some half buried fabrics, though he wasn’t sure what kind it was and at that point, Qui-Gon had woken up enough to drag himself onto the sled.

Dazedly he had also helped Obi-Wan with the harness, making it more secure and tying it more tightly to the sled, all the while murmuring apologies to his padawan for what Obi-Wan was required to do.

Obi-Wan had tried to answer as best he could through the bond, sending a soothing sensation at him but neither of them were in a good state. Both were injured, Qui-Gon severely, Obi-Wan had forcibly transformed, their supplies were lost in the avalanche and the mountain was showing signs of a coming storm.

So he had simply gently butted his nose to Qui-Gon’s scraped up hand, pushing at it until Qui-Gon tucked himself under the fabric to cover up as best he could, sad blue eyes watching his padawan worriedly.

So Obi-Wan had started walking, the rope pulling harshly on his furry body, chafing painfully, the sled with Qui-Gon heavy but that didn’t stop Obi-Wan, he had done difficult and hard things before. They needed to get to safety, to a settlement or a cave or something, they needed to survive.

Force, he had been walking and running for so long now, his legs were hurting and even his furry body was cold, tongue hanging out as he panted for air but the his desperation for survival was pushing him forward.

But worse was the fact that Qui-Gon had long ago lost consciousness once more, his face pale and his breathing shallow, snow piling on top of the fabric all over the large humans body.

They both needed help and Obi-Wan howled once more before forcing himself forward once more, his legs shaking as bloody paw prints were snowed over in seconds as the copper wolf continued forward.

Is livingyetdead abandoned?

Not abandoned but its old and therefore I am slow *gestures to what feels like fifty thousand other fics* because you know, I run a very big blog and I have a lot of people sending in prompts and I promise I’m TRYING. But also sending in the ‘please can you continue’ requests don’t do much for writing muses my friend, even though I still have them. Oh hey, I got two please continue for livingyetdead and they’re all from this month… interesting.

Anyhow, not abandoned, I’m trying but I got a lot of prompts and a real life. So you know, there’s that.

94 prompts just so you all know.
