Fictional characters might not be real, but our relationships with them are.
Studies show it’s difficult for our brains to distinguish between our familiarity with characters on TV and our personal relationships with real people. The effect is so strong that just thinking about watching your favorite TV show can make you feel less lonely.
Another joke post based on @vulptilla ‘s fanfic The Ghosts on Coruscant [I know i’m joking in these kids of posts, but it is a good fic you should check out] – there’s a scene where a semi-reformed Vader meets his kids, and it was sweet, but unfortunately this was the cursed idea that popped into my head.
I have to admit i was also inspired by @scuddington ‘s great comics about Vader taking care of his kids.
