I know this is going to come of as a ‘sorry but’ thing, but I still want to say it.

I didn’t mean to cause any hurt. If I did, I an truely sorry. There are things that I don’t think of since I am from Norway, social injustices and such (and white as I am) and things I don’t think of in terms of language in how things are phrased. So any hurt I’ve caused by that ignorance, I am sorry about.

Even though most of the people that got upset with me won’t ever see this post, I hope that at least is worth something.

Look, I know there are some social stigmas that go over my head. Some stuff I just don’t get, especially when it comes to skin color, especially since I live in Norway and we don’t exactly get melanin and there are things we don’t see here as much. (Edit: the melanin comment is meant as a minor joke, I mean that there are things I just see or experiance due to being from a small island, mostly surrounded by the same people as me)

I’m not here trying to be an awful person.

I write fictional stories about fictional things in a universe where you literally have a sword of light. I don’t think what I do impact shit except for people who wants a few minutes of entertainment.

On that note, I turned anon of for a while now. So yeah, if you wanna send me something hateful, you can do it in person.

Look, I said colored men because I didn’t want to be racist. But apparently that’s wrong too, at this point I’m unsure if I should say black men, cause that would get me jumped too.

Oooo, I’ve got some and some might be a bit abrasive but they need to be said:

• Just because your headcanon is accepted by 95% of the fandom doesn’t make it canon. So don’t yell at people who don’t share the same headcanon as you and tell them that they are wrong.
• If someone doesn’t ship the popular m/m ship, it doesn’t make them a homophobe.
• aging characters up to make them adults is not pedophilia.
• age gaps between adults is not pedophilia.
• To the antis: your trauma is valid, but how you treat people is not. Do fucking better and stop harassing people. You look stupid.
• To the pro-shippers: people in fandom who don’t want to get into shipping wars don’t have to think your ship is valid and that doesn’t make them an anti.
• Shipping discourse is stupid. It’s stupid. Just learn to mind your business.
• Would love for fellow Western fans to stop bastardizing Eastern terms to spread their hate and inherent racism.
• Older fans {30+} are allowed to enjoy content in peace. My sincerest apologies if you’re 23 and you think you’re a bigshot telling older fans to pay taxes yet you’re scared shitless to call and order food on the phone. Focus on your communication skills, Zelda/Kai/Skyler.
• LEARN TO FUCKING BLOCK PEOPLE.
