They invest in stocks and constantly people try and push this stupid as fuck idea that there’s no ads!! :)) it’s free!! when it’s been in beta for literal fucking years with one of the worst filtration and blocking systems I’ve seen to date and rampant disgusting nsfw that’s unregulated and crops up to previews for themes anyways so why do we constantly have to have mile long posts defending such a fundamentally bad website from it’s core instead of actually thinking critically for once I fucking hate all of you.

Same thing for AO3. The reason AO3 is in beta is because it doesn’t have a finalized codebase and it’s too unstable to make an API out of. They could put out a post tomorrow saying ‘we’re out of beta’ and nobody would bat an eye. The website isn’t perfect, but it’s more than functional. And yes, there are a lot of features that can’t be added without overtaxing the existing hardware resources, so why not try a GreasyFork userscript?
tl;dr – I have to write this every year, but AO3 is still not a scam. It is a non-profit. None of the staffers even get paid. It exists solely for a charitable purpose, a purpose which has been acknowledged and validated by the Internal Revenue Service.

and I thought you would make it into this amazing AU. qui-gon never
takes obi-wan as a padawan and says some hurtful things to him. Now
fast forward to the clone wars and they meet each other again and obi
accomplished all these things. But by that time qui-gon had gone to a
mind healer and he’s astonished by obi-wan and starts to fall in
love. Only if you want to though. I had sent a similar one but IDK if
tumble ate it.
Alternate
timeline in which Lux isn’t saved by Ahsoka in that one arc and has
to join death watch, also Bo Katan basically adopts him and maybe he
gets an edgy scar from pre vizla

this. But I had this idea that mabye obi-wan is done with qui-gon
hurting him and the last straw is the council room and he just ups
and leaves in the middle of them all talking. So he goes and makes a
life in the galaxy (hopefully w/ jango) and just does what he wants.
How
about Obi-Wan in a prestigious intergalactic circus/artistic troupe?
Can
we get a story that has Obi-Wan as a carnivore(maybe it’s part of
his species), and he and Ahsoka bond over this? Perhaps meat rations
run out and the planet they are on has no small animals to hunt for
so Anakin starts to worry? I love you writing skills they are
wonderful!!!!

Kind
of a Rebels prompt, kind of not also pretty cracky but I just
couldn’t get it out of my head: Even so many years later, Vader
regrets how things ended with Obi-Wan. There are nights he wants to
punish him, others he wants to just hold him close, so when he goes
to Lothal and encounters a ginger-haired agent with well groomed
facial hair (albeit sideburns/muttonchops instead of a full beard)
and a stubbornness regarding the rules, they develop a strange
arrangement.
Can
you please do a temporally confused Obi Wan? Like, he tells Qui Gon
that he’s sorry about Xanatos before Xanatos goes dark? “it’s the
anniversary of your death, master Jinn, that’s why I’m sad.”

So
like I just have an image of Obi Wan- be it during the fight in ROTS
or later during his time on Tatooine- just… throwing light and good
vibes at Vader. Like, if it’s during the fight, then he does it in
panic to get Anakin to stand down, and if he think of it on Tatooine
then it is entirely Qui Gon’s fault. The end result of course is
Anakin having a split force between the dark with Sidious and the
light with Obi Wan and Obi Wan is stuck with this insane person who
keep a flip flopping back and forth.
I
just got into Rebels and had a prompt idea: So when he’s stranded
with Zeb, Omega!Kallus goes into heat and ends up hooking up with the
Lasat. What’s supposed to be a one-night stand quickly turns into a
problem when, a couple weeks later, Kallus finds out he’s pregnant.
He finds out when Darth Vader (who has a soft spot for
pregnancies/babies for obvious reasons) congratulates him after
sensing the baby through the force. (I wanna do this but I don’t
have TIME ;A; )
Obi-Wan
has phsychometry but he never told anyone. (I thought about doing
this but… it would be very hard for child Obi to hide it in the
creche I feel, considering how strong an imprint some Jedi leave and
from what I read up on, unless trained for, some strong impression
can send a person with phsychometry into seizures and shock…)
