After the explosion when Keeli gets knocked down, General Di pushes forward to protect Keeli’s body. He ran towards the droids because of Keeli, Di could’ve stayed safer if he had stayed where he was; but he went to protect his boy.
When he turns to look at Captain Keeli, his expression drops, and ya’ll see his fist clench? Then Di goes running towards the droids yet again, the only difference this time is he has nothing left to lose.
