Messysleep! (my last one was for that too, I don’t think I said) So, Does Obi-Wan go wondering on Campaign? Does Cody tag the tent? Do they get him before he wonder off? Why is Obi-Wan sleep walking again after so long of not doing it?

Attaching
the alerts to the bottom of the tent, Cody gave a satisfied nod to
himself before slowly straightening and cracking his back, giving a
little grunt. ‘There, if he starts to wander the night any day, the
alert in my comm will go off the moment he walks outside the tent
doors.’ He smiled in satisfaction
before looking around for his General.

He
found him over by Boil and Waxer in conversation
about….something.

He
wasn’t about to go over and ask, Boil and Waxer could have anything
going on and Cody wanted deniable plausibility if the Ghost members
were up to something.

Always
have deniable plausibility when it comes to the vode if you’re in
command, it’s best for your sanity.

Like
officially the command knew nothing about the rotgut being brewed
around by various members of
the GAR.

That
didn’t mean they didn’t get their hands on a bottle sometimes
because seriously, dealing with the natural born command or the Jedi
required at least a sip of alcohol now and then.

‘Especially
if they apparently sleep walk and fall out of their bunks.’ Cody
gave the little attaches a glance and then rolled his shoulders
before going off to find Geller and Hotpack, those two were going to
be on Kenobi sleep duty.

It
was about four am when the alerts went off and Cody, who hadn’t
bothered to fully slide out of his lower armor, rolled out of bed the
instant it went off and was already out of his tent before he really
had time to think, a flashlight in his hand as he leveled it at the
General’s tent.

Inwardly
he cursed as he noticed that Yellow, one of the new shinys, was
sitting on a duracrate and had clearly dozed off at some point but
that wasn’t what Cody could focus on as he turned the flashlight
around quickly, trying to catch a glimpse of his General in the dark
camp with limited light.

There,
the soft beige of a tunic.

On
it’s way out
of camp.

With
a muffled curse, Cody closed the distance fast and put his flashlight
in his mouth as he carefully manged to turn his General around with
both hands on the man’s shoulder, gently encouraging further into
the camp.

The
movements had alerted others and more light was coming on much to
Cody’s relief as he continued slowly shepherding the sleeping Jedi
back, curious troopers peeking out only to watch in resignation as
Cody continued guiding Obi-Wan.

Least
there weren’t any gundarks on this planet, so he wouldn’t be
walking into a gundark nest.

However
when they got to the General’s tent, Obi-Wan resisted with a
grouchy sounding mewl.

Thinking,
Cody glanced towards the medtent to find Helix, wanting to get advice
from the medic only to blink when the medic gestured to Cody’s own
tent, privilege of being a commander.

Rolling
his eyes, Helix let out a loud, tired grunt before finger spelling to
Cody, gaining a few muffled laughs as the words registered in the dim
lights to everyone.

“Bunk
share.”

Helix
wanted Cody to share his bunk with the General and while that wasn’t
a bad idea, it would let Cody look after Obi-Wan after all, it was a
bit… well this was a Jedi, well enough they had all cuddled
together during that mission where their heaters stopped working but
this wasn’t a matter of survival.

Glancing
at his General, Cody rolled his shoulders, feeling sleep
stiff
muscles protest before he carefully herded the sleeping Jedi towards
his own tent and this time Obi-Wan didn’t make a single protest,
making Cody frown ever so slightly to himself.

Maybe
Obi-Wan needed someone around him to sleep easier?

It
was worth a shot, maybe they could avoid him walking into that cursed
gundark nest Cody kept imagining.

But
right now Cody just had to figure out how to get both himself and his
General onto the narrow bunk as he half noticed lights shutting off
around him once more.
